  1. So I may have been on over 25 cruises but I didn’t think to grab my edocs till today- 2 days before my cruise.

somehow it is showing my husband as not fully checkedin because it didn’t link my credit card Info to his, soooo I can’t access my edocs and checkin is now closed.

Im boarding in NYC, will this cause an issue? I figure I can show my reservation confirmation to get through security and it shouldn’t be an issue but just wanted to confirm.

The people in the cabin you are bidding on may have put a bid on another category of cabin. If they can upgrade that opens up their cabin for someone else.

My cruise showed fully sold out for about a month and somehow I got an upgrade 3 days before. I literally thought about canceling them today then 2 hours later I was upgraded!

Well I got the confirmation email last night to say that I've been upgraded from the inside to an outside family cabin.  Really happy with this as the room looks huge compared with the inside and most importantly, has enough storage for the three of us.

So worth sharing as it took almost 5 days from appearing on my credit card statement online to getting the email.   I had put in a low - ish bid previously, was worried about cabin size and was quoted around £600 to pay for the upgrade outright.  I could see on the website that everything was "sold out" so thought I had nothing to lose by upping the bid to the full suggested amount £410 total.  Was surprised to note that the payment from credit card was within a day of this upped bid.

Perhaps I could have been successful with a lower bid but it's worth it for the peace of mind.  Really excited to enjoy our extra space and bath tub 🙂  Good luck all.

I just got notified we were upgraded to balcony from inside for $205 pp!!!!!!

no way I expected that!!!! 3 days! NCL escape 10/15!!!!!

I noticed that all cabins for my cruise on Escape are sold out on the website ( apart from inside which is what I currently have).  I thought I might as well go ahead and bump up my offer on the outside cabin to the max ( £205 each) as "you never know". So did that yesterday as the increased bid is still a lot cheaper than what my TA quoted me a few weeks ago if I just wanted to pay for an upgrade directly.

I was on my online banking just now and see that there is a pending transaction for this exact amount for NCL on my credit card.  Whilst my other bids are marked as pending, the outside is "unable to upgrade"?  Does this mean that I may have been successful? Not had any email and my NCL account still references my current inside cabin.  I'm feeling impatient 🙂

Check your NCL account online and see if your room is different. You can also go back to where you bid and all other bids should say expired and one say processing (I think maybe different wording). Pending means they are still under review.

what date are you cruising? I’m on 10/15 escape- also seeing all but inside sold out and I haven’t got an upgrade yet.

Feel better soon! Covid is indiscriminate. We just returned from a week in Costa Rica, covid test on Friday negative, covid test on Saturday negative, we had to retest because return flight was canceled and couldn't get out until next day.

My daughter started to not feel well Monday afternoon, yesterday she felt worse, she and her husband are positive, he has a scratchy throat, she has chills, fever, body aches and head aches. We are all vaccinated and boosted.

I took test this morning and negative, I'll test again tomorrow.

Have Alaskan cruise on Bliss mid July so hoping I stay negative.

The nice part of precruise testing is they except antigen- those should only be positive if there is a live infection. So I’m not concerned about our cruise leaving in 30 days.

Also my husband is still testing negative- only I got it. Both vaccinated and boosted.

  6. I also just got off a 3 MSC cruise symptoms started the day after I disembarked. Nothing serious- just cold symptoms.  This was our third cruise after the shut down. The other two were 7 days on NCL. I’d blame it on the 2.5 hour checkin line that was not socially distanced at all. We’ve never had that long of a line on NCL.

Anyway it was a good cruise, and at least I know I’ll be protected for our NCL Europe cruise in 30 days!

Um, no it's not Iceland to Southampton.  That $900 is round trip for 2 people from Savannah, Georgia to Southampton, then from Iceland back to Savannah.  Big difference. Sorry, I should have clarified that to begin with.

I think I’m on your same cruise- July 3 from Southampton. We haven’t got our flights yet

When you click on Summary, it'll be listed right under Pre-Pay service charges on the left hand side.  You can also scroll down to Air, Hotel, Transfers at the bottom of the summary page and it'll be there as well.  Just note, it will show cities but not the flight numbers or record locators.

Mine only says hotel: maybe once they book my flight it will be there?
