  1. I experience at least couple days weather/wind similar to this each yr, actually enjoy feeling like we're on a Ship. In 35+ yrs of Cruising only once got Sea Sick, not throwing up was in bed most one day. While on my first 13niter in North Atlantic about 12yrs ago, was also my first true Aft Cabin on highest passenger Deck. You know it's going to be real fun when hey stack/tie up all the Deck Chairs and Drain the pools
  2. 2 Cruises ago Workers tried telling a Family, Sure dont want to wait for Elevator. 6ft 3in 300lb guy fell over his suitcases rolling over onto his short wife and 7yr old kid. This only 1/3 way down Escalator. Emergency Stop was pushed, I was behind them trying hold 2 their suitcases from rolling into them. Took 20min to get Family pulled apart, up and off as I stayed squatted holding their 2 cases each by one wheel, all while wearing my 25lb backpack. Screaming, Crying, lot of cuts and Blood, the Man laying on top his family headfirst. Everyone behind went back up so I'm alone there and finally last off after shore workers walked up to grab all their Luggage, purse, coat and cell phones.
  3. Yeah can relate. We talk like this show our age, half time my Daughter doesn't understand and my Grand Daughter just thinks Papa's nuts. GD eats all Fruit's, steamed Broccoli with nothing on it and both Girls on Med style Diet. I was raised on White Bread, Meatloaf, Hot Dogs and Mac n Cheese, with Meat and Potatoes on Sunday
  4. You should try it here in Az where there is no Spring ahead, Birds chirping at 320am in Summer, Sun coming up after 4 in Summertime
  5. And these are reason I personally enjoy longer Cruises.. Except for couple Cruises this past yr been 22yrs since did anything shorter then 10niter. No Crowds, few Families or Kids(10-25), many Solo typically 1450-2050 passengers
  6. Not surprised, Royal even allows a few their workers to Post that includes a few things that a Reg workers wouldn't be allowed to. Interesting 2 of them I remember off hand Posted amount of Money the earn from Royal and what they make from those Sites. Their Royal income wasnt bad at all but the money they make from just Posting Royal Videos all I can say is Wow!
  7. There is more then a few posting from onboard, think watching 8-9 different posters. Couples, Boomers, Gen X and Millennial's. Haven't watched any of the Postings from anyone not on the Ships and don't plan on it
  8. True, many times(inc on Serenade) while doing 13-16niters seem them add a 3rd or 4th Show like this. Similar to the old Main Dining Menu's they'd blow dust off extras they had, know for sure seen at least 14 Different ones and would see them on longer Carib and Repo's
  9. Thanks, on longer Radiance Class Cruises I do usually experienced 1750-2050
  10. Couple Decades ago Late Show was at 1045, Early at 845. Getting to point I like the 630-7 now. Royal does lot of combined shows in between early/late, feel for those miss it having My Time then
  11. Always watched though Modern Marvels type shows. One on Eggs, not perfect ones would go into the premade Milk Cartoon type... When got Hired as Burger King MGR almost 40yrs ago couldn't believe they cracked every egg for Breakfast Sandwiches, but that order came from Corporate. Thinking about it they always mixed milk into eggs also.
  12. Some Fast Food Rest use Eggs they have to crack open, others from large Milk Carton looking thing. Still 100% real Eggs though. When did tour on Royal Ship they were cracking each egg, though was while ago
  13. Miami Metropolitan Area is the ninth-largest Metropolitan Statistical Area (MSA) in the United States, the fifth-largest metropolitan area in the Southern USA and the largest metropolitan area in Florida with a population of 6.14 Million
  14. Yet even she was borrowed by another Ship in another Cast, she posted Videos as it happened. And I've known others like her that did 4-6wk then return, Rare, yes but happens.
  15. One Cruise it let me Fill out the Health Questionnaire weeks before Cruise, that's Royal IT for ya
  16. Sorry, shouldn't be that hard. I was missing Cruises from 80's, fortunately had all my Cruise Cards and Tickets. saved everything. Daughter had one from 1997 missing. Was lucky email with all info reservation numbers dates and 4wks later was fixed
  17. Not bad compared to some New Releases. Some these on Radiance Class in the new Cat Sunset Balcony where Cruises are running $200 per person per nite and more
  18. Shoot I've had Meal Times change in Main Dining after we Boarded. Card's said 6pm, Cruise Compass said 6pm, hundreds of us show up to Main Dining to find out times Printed on them were wrong. Our Sailing was supposed to be 6:30 for 1st early Seating. They seated us all anyway. Doing many Fall B4B's and longer Meal times changing between Cruises happens at least once. Yes, feeding 500-1000+ passengers a sitting in Main Dining all in 25-60min, that would be lot of Carving.
  19. Ha, Yeah! I'm always first in Wind Jammer for Dinners, first cuts and first to touch Utensils. Of course growing up 45-50yrs ago living with a Single Father, just the 2 of us, a fancy meal ate our house was a Turkey Loaf or Ham Loaf cooked up in Tin came in.
  20. Yeah I always go to Wind Jammer on Thanksgiving they have always had whole Turkeys at Carving Station on my Sailings. Better then that Turkey in Main Dining.
