Cool Cruiser (2/15)

  1. Thank you very much for this information. The Emerald had an electronic Poker table on the Panama Canal cruise that we took in Jan/Feb 2024. At this point we are not counting on the guys being able to play poker. Thanks again.
  2. Thanks for this. It will be a disappointment for our poker players.
  3. Thanks. Much appreciated that information. My DH will be disappointed also our other traveling companions. Where you on the Sapphire for the South America itineraries?
  4. Hi Syumi, We will be on the Sapphire for the 17 day Antarctica Buenos Aires RT cruise in December 2024. I have been trying to find out if there is poker on those itineraries. We want to play poker on those sea days. What Sapphire itinerary were you on that didn't have poker? Was it a South America itinerary? Appreciate any information. Thanks much. Lucinda
  5. Hi Karatemom2, We will be on the Sapphire later this year, December 2024, with relatives doing the Antarctica Buenos Aires RT and our traveling companions are interested in playing poker on sea days. We were on the Emerald in Jan/Feb 2024 doing the Panama Canal and they had poker tournaments on the sea days and live games anytime there was enough people. I have found some Princess patters for the Sapphire on the South America cruises but they don't list anything about poker tournaments. Looking at your comments it sounds like poker is only offered for certain markets. I didn't realize that would happen. It might mean that the guys will have to find something other than poker to play. Our guys would be just as bereft if the poker tables were not there as your husband was. Did he have to complain to the Casino director a lot about the craps table being removed? Thanks for any information you can provide. Much appreciated. Lucinda
  6. Thank you for your quick reply. I appreciate the explanation about the cross-posted term. Just didn't even think about it that way. Thought it was a person named cross as I was most interested in finding out about the best way to get to AEP airport. I so appreciate the link to the website that you used. We are looking forward to our trip to the Iguazu falls after the cruise and want to make it easy and safe. Thanks for this information.
  7. Can you link me to the original post done by Cross? I need to find out what company they used for the transfer to the AEP airport. We will be doing the tour to the falls after our cruise next year. Thanks
  8. Air has been all over the place for us. Finally found some decent prices but not sure if we want to come in a day earlier. Looking at AA for flights and leaving from TUS. Thanksgiving week to deal with also. Haven't booked air yet. Still watching prices.
  9. Hi Ken, We decided on the Dec. 1st, RT Antarctic cruise from Buenos Aries. We are now finalizing our ship cabin locations (2 cabins needed) and want to verify that the starboard side is the best overall for the sights in the Antarctic portion. We take lots of photos and would appreciate any advise on the best side for photo taking of Antarctic. We are planning on a general balcony and not a suite on deck 12 or 11. Deck 10 has lots of options also but prefer higher up. We normally get mid-aft or aft balcony cabins. Many thanks for your help and time. I love seeing your photos and all the information that you are able to provide. The information really helps us plan our trip. Lucinda
  10. Thanks will look at the post. So appreciate your time for this. Really helps us all to make a decision.
  11. Thank you very much for this information! I still checking out the best dates for us to go. Our son is still working and will depend on his schedule of projects. Appreciate all the help. Thanks.
  12. Hi, Could anyone please tell me what options are available for cabins if the back Aft ones are not available? We are looking to book the 17-Day Antarctica cruise in December 2024 on the Sapphire. I believe that the starboard side is the one that is the best for viewing the Antarctic area but what deck would be best? I would be booking 2 cabins one for ourselves and the 2nd for our son. I see on the Princess deck plans that on deck 11 at the back of the ship there is a doorway but I'm not sure where that leads. Is is a viewing area? It also juts out a bit. It is also on deck 10 but it doesn't go out over the line of the balconies. What that is about? There are cabins available on deck 12 but mid-aft. Any suggestions would be so helpful. Thanks for your help.
