Would rather cruise Alaska in Sept, don't mind the rain at all. Saw the northern lights the first cruise up there, back in 90 was great.

Hey urban trekker, or martincath, if one was to wander over to Stanley park, from the Westin hotel, would it be possible to find the 9:00 cannon, the totem poles & etc? Knowing that the park is a huge place, thought about finding those places to poke around at. Any suggestions? Thanks.

Been lookin at the Blue horizon & sutton place at the moment, will be goin to the auto club for some more info. Asked at work, would anyone stay at the westin for $$$ an right now, its a tie in the answers, some said yes, an others...

Have always cruised in Sept, also a time or two in May & June. Prefer to cruise later, thats when all the end of season sales are goin on. First cruise, saw the Northern lights, was beautiful!!! Don't mind the rain one bit.

Hi guys, I seem to have the same thoughts like everyone else here, have been to Alaska several times, an the more I go, just don't seem to get enough of the place, so have been thinkin bout not takin any tours in Ketchikan, but just wander around the town, lookin & explorin, of course have lunch someplace & takin a whole lot of pictures. Another thing, have bought t shirts & sweatshirts in Juneau, Skagway, & Sitka, but never bought in Ketchikan. Am I the only one who can't decide here? Will be on the Crown in Sept.

Hi guys, is it just me or is Pier 2 in Ketchikan the hot spot for ships to dock at? Will be on the crown princess in Sept, an do the ships follow the cruiseline agencies of alaska, where the ships get to dock? Pier 2 seems to be in the middle of the things. Yup, me to. Gee was wonderful goin to Hawaii, even through pictures. Can't wait til Sept to go to Alaska.
