I got the same thing from his talks this week it will be delayed but didn’t say how long the delay would be.

I’m not going anywhere this year just work on home projects and wait to decorate for the holidays 

Well it’s possible my Dec 12 Mardi Gras could be cancelled give me the FCC and I will rebook for next July 

I think the Havana cabanas are nice but the lack of privacy outside of that solid wall when you first walk out. The openness to see right next door and people can walk by made me not want to book. The Havana balcony look okay. What else do I have to do to get my cruise fix is watch YouTube cruise vlogs.

 Conquest class my favorite is liberty and I just sailed on the sunrise this past December so that’s second place.

I would fly stay pre cruise somewhere and grab a meal. 

I hope you guys get to sail to report back the changes good or bad!! I would definitely take a balcony upgrade at some of those prices!!

In all seriousness, and I am NOT a racist....I took a walk yesterday.  One block south to the white community....just about everyone had a mask.  Then I went north...one block....just about nobody had a mask.  This included "the workers" in the take-out restaurants.

 

Our governor has Chris Rock and Rosie Perez doing infomercials begging these communities to wear masks.  Every day he gets on TV..talks about the higher rates in lower income communities.....and begs the people to wear masks.  It just doesn't help.

 

For the record....DH and I both had covid and we're white.

I didn’t think you were a racist because of the comment at all. The wording just threw me for a minute. Lower income comes in all colors but if there were more mask for all they could be handed out in those much needed areas. In my city they did give out free mask earlier but they are hard to come by. I’m glad you and your husband are doing well.
 

I just told

my husband the other day hand sanitizers, sprays and wipes are not available for us in the regular markets but you go to business and they can get it easy. I think that’s a problem. I work at a HS and whenever we go back into the building I’m looking now so I can get supplies for my personal use.

Here in NYC the black/Hispanic community has been hit hard.  Why?  I live, literally, on the borderline.  If I exit my building and head south, it's full of white people with masks, moving.  If I go north...less than half the people have masks and they're sitting together in groups, talking.

 

We're supposed to start opening on June 8.  Most people are dependent on public transportation....and if those in "the ignorant group" don't bother with masks.....it's gonna be a quick "second wave".

Are you saying that only the black/Hispanic race is ignorant for not wearing a mask. I live in NC and all races here aren’t wearing mask, which I think is a problem. I just don’t think people are taking it seriously unless it happens to them or someone they care about. I’m black and I wear a mask. 

I can’t wait for the late comers to muster still with their drinks in their hand. Looking at us like we were only playing red rover. 🤷🏾‍♀️

Yeah it is in a strange location my dh wouldn’t care as long as they have one. Everyone is wanting to see a glimpse of the interior

Yeap she said they did they had single serve butter but not salt and pepper. I would think now they would have some but it would have to be in plastic silverware.

I miss a dessert they had called bitter and blanc it was so good.

My daughter was on the last sunshine sailing before the shut down they had hand sanitizer stations everywhere servers were at the buffet and there were single serving of condiments in the dining room and if you needed salt and pepper the servers did it for you. There were also people serving the ice cream. That’s all I could remember she said.

Not yet I will see how everything goes late fall before I do. I am ready to get back cruising but if I can’t or don’t feel comfortable doing so I will reschedule for next summer.

I hope they are sailing by then i would love to be on a ship by July 2021

Already posted but I can add no fantasy class ships to small for me now.
