Yes - they also weigh for horses. They cannot afford to have a horse injured. We saw a woman turned away due to 3 pounds over. She argued and said she rides all the time at home - they still didn't allow her. She was rather embarrassed.

.....maybe she rides a pack mule?...............

And some here can't stand that others, who are at a lower level, get some of the same perks that they do and want those benefits removed.

If free alcohol were to be taken away from D and D+, you can bet there would be a full scale rebellion, threats to sail other cruise lines, cancel RCI cruises and so on.

we will FINALLY be coming up to Diamond level with our next RCCL cruise on the Liberty of the Seas in 2014...only need 4 points to reach this level from Emerald and automatically moved to Elite with Celebrity I thought !!!!

now changes are going to be applied starting 2014 on RCCL C & A ...this week X has new policy with Captain's Club

does anyone know IF there is a clause that will keep us with what was to be prior to the changes ??

The zip lines are actually dangerous and can be life threatening. Not allowing pax who are over the designed weight limit is a very prudent move on their part. Sorry for those pax who are over the weight limit but this is a safety issue and cannot be changed.

 

Horses were mentioned and they can only safely carry so much weight depending on the horse and the trail. Again safety not only for the pax but also the animal is important. Helicopters and small planes can only carry so much weight before they become dangerous. They have a load limit and it is easy to exceed it. They also have to have load balanced which is why they may ask you to sit in a particular place on the aircraft. We certainly do not want aircraft crashing out of the sky. It is a safety issue.

...then again driving to Cozumel can be "dangerous" and "life threatening" if certain guidelines are not adhered......;)

Thanks for the help everyone. Will let him know. I am a bit surprised royal would refund. It seems like it should be the guests responsibility to know their own weight, but it is very generous of them.

....but then again RCL has to take some responsibility for the weight issues......those all you can eat buffets pack on the pounds for everyone. :D

Check out Tiffany Towncar .they have a web site. They have multiple type vehicles and always 100 percent on time in our experience. Truly professional. Family owned and they could point you in the right direction if they can not fill your need. Also welcome to Cruise Critic.

Id for sure go to the bank despoit them and then go and withdraw the bills you want withthe teller.. Just be lucky you dont live in Canada all our $1 and 2$ are coins

This is the best reason why no one should ever go through a procedure like Botox on a cruise ship. You have no idea who's doing the procedure and if they're even qualified.

 

Unfortunately, you have no standing against Princess. You most likely signed a waiver forgiving Princess of any responsibility. Heck, they make you sign a waiver for regular spa services.

I recently tried Botox on the Crown Princess and had horrible result, droopy eyelid!!! Anyone ever had this problem and should I complain to Princess? I feel lied to by their doctor and lied to by Princess!

....but look on the bright side.....now you qualify for a part on the up-coming T.V. show "Real Housewives of the Princess Cruise Lines". Now if you could somehow get a spot on "TMZ" you're in like flint....;):D
