That you will have a great time. Enjoy your cruise.
-
This will be our eighth cruise on her. That should tell you something.

I loved those midnight buffets. The way the food was prepared and the derests and the Ice sculptures were amazing. Loved taking pictures of them.
-
Had one awhile back and try to avoid them if I can. We had a couple of young people in them and they liked to party and rough house. Sleeping was fine but it was a distraction at other times.

You are going to love this class of ships. The Voyager class and the Freedom class in my opion are some of the best in the fleet. Will be on Explorer for the eighth time in Oct. and it never gets old. Don't miss the ice cream bar on deck 11 by the Windjammer.

My wife used the service on the Explorer a few times and they did a nice job. It was funny watching her stuff as much as she could in the bag.
-
Just waking up, getting a cup of coffee, and knowing I can relax all day if I want too.
-
Are they available on the Explorer of the Seas now or in a few months.
-
Love that ship. Our first cruise was on her. She started our cruise journey over the years. Thanks for posting the pictures.

Great ship. Fantastic crew. Sorry to see her leave New Jersey. We will be on her for the eigth time in Oct. and looking forward to it. You will enjoy her and have a great cruise.

My wife has bought at least a half dozen gold bracelets going back to the 90's and they all look like new today. A clasp did break on one of them and they repaired it on our next cruise. At a dollar or two an inch it is what it is. But they all look good on her when she has them on.

Bring our small carry on bags to our room when its ready, then check our dinning room table for its location, then get a little lunch. Then I'll go around the ship and take some pictures before too many people get on board. Being this will be our eighth time on the Explorer picture taking will be held to a mimuim. I say that on every Explorer cruise but still come back with to many pictures.

I found it. I was trying to go through the Crown and Anchor site where my cruise is listed. Thanks for the reply.

Is there a secrete to finding the Shore Excursions on a certain island on a certain cruise. Last year it was fairly easy. When I go to the RCL now things just don't come up like they used too. Does this have to do with RCL new updated website.

Just sitting on deck four on the Explorer of the Seas and watching the Sea go by. SOOO relaxing.
-
Yea. Things are not working well right now.

Take the ferry. Its a great ride both to St George or to Hamilton. Bermuda is a lot more expensive then say the Caribbean island of St Thomas etc. Be careful to not miss the ferry back.

If you want convenience and to be on the road in a short time after you leave the ship park at the pier. We have done this quit a few times. A Baggage handler picks up our bags in the terminal, we go through customs, he takes our bags to the car, I load the car and we are on our way home. Of course you can also carry your own bags which is even faster. $19.00 a day is correct and of course a tip for the baggage handler. Believe me its a lot easier and cheaper then going out of New York which I have done before Cape Liberty was built for RCCL.

Any thoughts on the Quantum of the Seas new dinning areas. I think I might miss the set time and table. I didn't see a restaurant listed that had the normal dishes that were normally served in the main dinning room.

The TV selection is just plain BAD, and I let them know about on the survey card at the end of the cruise. Not that they will do much about it. This year was the first time where channel selection was poor. Does this go along with no candy on the pillow etc,etc etc.
-
Yes it can be done. Gave my daughter and her husband the Romance Package. As was said before, just make sure you use there booking number. We did this by using the web site.
-
For the first time on our last cruise I did see quit a few people bring there own pillows onto the ship. Seems to be the new thing.
-
Never had that problem, and I go and check prices all the time. Make sure you go into the RCCL web site.
