Just returned from a cruise to Bernuda on the Explorer of the Seas out of New Jersey and formal night was alive and doing very well. Most were dressed iin suits and sport jackets and a few tuxes. Did see some with shirt and tie and a few with a sport shirt only, but overall most were dressed for both formal night which my wife and I were glad to see.

Instead of a power strip I bring a short extension cord a one of those 3 way adaptors. Works great for cameras, phone, etc. Leaves the other plug for my wife to use. This past cruise we had to plug the hair dryer in this spot. Usually the hair dryer is already pluged in when you open the drawer but this was not the case in the room we had.

Just off the Explorer and they had Hotdogs and Hamburgers in the WJ.

Great, more changes.

Thanks for the direction to Sea Glass Beach. The way you explained it and showed it i should have no trouble finding it. I have been to Bermuda a few times and never new it was there.

Did not get one when we passed 140 on our last cruise. What do I have to do call RCCL and ask how come they missed giving us one or will I get it on our next cruise in Oct.

Anyone know what percent of the total cost of the cruise does the travel agent receive from the cruise line.

This is great. Keep it going.

Man, you people are killing me, with the vido by tx121 and the pictures by epcotbill. Thanks for posting. Brings back great memories in a time that seemed to be a lot less hectic. Looks like its time to research another cruise.

Wow. This thread brought back great memories. First on her in April 94. Loved it so much we were back on her two months later. This ship started our love for cruising. Anyone know where the ship is and who owns it.

Thanks. That was one of the best reviews I have seen in awhile. My wife and I love the Explorer and hope to be back on her in Oct.

Loved it so much we bought two bottles and brought it back home with us for our morning coffee. Come to think of it I am starting to run low, time for another cruise.

So let me get this stright, we have to get a Bank of America ID before we can log into the new system.

You telling me with all the technology they have at there disposal they can't design these ships to handel this sewerage. Hard to believe. The last time we cruised we had the odor the whole cruise at different spots and times all over the ship. Even with that we still had a great time.

Great to have a new thread on the Explorer.

Am backed and waiting at the door to leave.

The attendents store some of the bedding under the beds but there is lots of room for two large suitscases. We also use the area behind the sofa foe our small carry-ons.

Was also on this cruise and the wife and I had a great time. It seemed the seven days just flew by. Hope to be on her one more time before she leaves Port Liberty. Someone mentioned something about construction going on, Not on the pier the ship is docked at, but the pier next to it was well under construction for something new. Maybe this could become the new pier for Quantum of the Seas. Just a thought.
