The anxiety I would have arriving that lateâŚđŹ
-
It is Port Canaveral. Does it make sense to show up like 45 min early so we can park and check our bags and stuff?
-
So somehow I lost track of when this opened up and I ended up getting a 12:30 arrival time which is later than I would have liked. If I arrive earlier is it possible to get on the ship or are they going to make us wait until 12:30? Also, any issue checking our luggage at that time or does it make sense to carry on at that point?

Will be at Port Canaveral for our Mardi Gras cruise in a few weeks and was wondering about parking. I know it is a bit cheaper to park offsite but I want whatever is quicker and easier. Would most people recommend parking directly at the port or offsite parking?

Good to know.

What is the realistic menâs standard for Elegant nights these days? Twenty-five years ago I rented a tux on my honeymoon, and then on cruises after that I always wore a sports jacket. I have heard it is much more relaxed now and I rather not dress up, but I rather not stick out like a sore thumb or get hassled either. If I wore a button down dress shirt and dressy shorts is that going to fly or do I still need to wear pants?đ

I have already purchased the premium internet plan for my wife and I on an upcoming cruise. It was like $22 per person per day. I see this new plan now though that includes more devices but also costs more. $75 a day vs a combined $44 for two separate premium plans. My question is if it is easy to log off of wifi on one device and log onto another under the regular premium plan? Like for example, if I wanted to connect my Apple Watch via wifi but did not want to take my phone with me.

LIVE from the Carnival Mardi Gras April 6th-13th

Been wondering the same about Amber Cove. We have Atlantis booked just to do it. Will prob just hit the beach in Grand Turk. Have no idea if anything is really worth doing in Amber Cove. Might stay on the ship but not sure. đ¤ˇđťââď¸ -

Wow, the audacity. Nothing wrong with that at all, but even if I thought there was I know well enough to mind my own damn business. SMH -
Celebrating 25th Anniversary on Celebration
bled01 replied to hawkinsh's topic in Carnival Cruise Lines
I also have my 25th anniversary this summer. What I am doing is leaving the kids at home. đ -
I tried to book three treatments for the same person that said bundle eligible and when I went to checkout there was no discount.đ¤ˇđťââď¸

I didnât get that offer, but the one that was online didnât work for me either. Debating if I want to call Carnival about it or not.
-
Is there an estimated time for when you can access your room and also what time the lugggage will show up in the room? (non-priority boarding) The ship is the Mardi Gras if that matters.
-
$9.95 is what I remember seeing. Typical
-
Am I crazy or did Carnival increase the price of this? I remember looking the other day and it was cheaper.
-
I have not been on either ship but was set on booking the Celebration because it was newer before changing to the Mardi Gras because Port Canaveral was more convenient for us. Based on the research I did, I was comfortable switching because the ships are so similar and both pretty new.

I decided to call the TA and they told me that it usually shows up about a week from sailing. So have to front the money for some stuff we wanted to order right now. We will spend much more than we got onboard anyway so I guess it is not a big deal.
-
So I booked a cruise with a TA that gave OBC. Is there a way to use that to purchase the available packages ahead of time directly through Carnival, or does it not show up until you are on board?
-
So I have not cruised for a while and wanted to see what thoughts people have on the these balcony cabin types. We are currently looking at a cruise this summer on the Celebration. -Forward Extended Balcony-how obstructed are these views? Worth the extra room? -Cloud 9 Spa balcony-Are the amenities worth the money? This would be like $350 more than the basic balcony. Suite-entry level suite is like $1000 more than the basic balcony. Worth the perks? Seems to me the Cloud 9 balcony is more bang for your buck?

Thanks for the responses so far. I guess I would clarify that I donât âneedâ to go on a RCCL mega ship. In general we like to go on newer ships but I really wanted to see if anyone had insight on todayâs Carvival vs. RCCL and those two ships in general: Celebration vs. Wonder of the Seas. Also is the bang for the buck worth it for an entry level suite? I guess these are what are referred to as mini suites although it does not say that. It would be the cheapest suite though on Carnival. Thanks for any additional insight.

Going to take a cruise this summer after about a dozen years being away. Had kids and have been doing Disney and âfamilyâ vacations but this will be our first real vacation without our kids since we had them. Have done RCL, Carnival, Princess & NCL in the past. Right now we are debating between a suite on the Carnival Celebration vs. a balcony on the RCL Wonder of the Seas. We like the newer ships with all the bells and whistles, but really just looking to relax on this cruise. We enjoyed both Carnival & RCL when we took them before, but again it has been a long time. Carnival seems like the best deal in cruising right now, but I really would also like to go on one of these RCL mega ships. Any opinions on this?
