  1. It’s not clear from the picture you uploaded, but it looks as though you are booking an inside cabin (and you say it is for November). The usual offer, which I think is current, is that you need to book a balcony or above more than six months in advance to be able to use two vouchers.
  2. You may struggle to get a definitive answer then, as there will only be limited experiences of a B2B there. In my experience, NCL try to avoid having to take people off of the ship if they can. They will try to do it my just giving you a new keycard instead, but clearing the ship may be required by the port.
  3. Where are you sailing? That makes a difference. In the US they need to clear the ship, so people have to get off and wait to be let back on (if they don’t want to leave the port), but in other places (ie Europe) you can likely stay onboard if you want.
  4. Yes, you can use free at sea at the meal, however it is booked. Basically, you book a table for 4. There is no facility for you to say who will be with you and the system doesn’t care. When you arrive for the meal you show the staff your cards so they know who is dining and let them know how you will be paying. Even if you combine the reservations you will still need to do all that. Combining them makes absolutely no difference to how this works.
  5. On the Dawn a couple of weeks ago they had the Chateauneuf du Pape by the bottle at dinner. It was very good. I echo the advice to go to Cellars and just try things. That is basically what we spent our evenings doing for most of our cruise. 🙂
  6. I’m sure that there is some region in Britain where that is what High Tea means, and there will be people who are prepared to argue about the terminology on Facebook in a way that makes a CC tipping thread look tame, but I think I’m in the large majority of British people who would never use the term at all. I’m only vaguely aware of having ever heard it before. There is a growing fashion for hotels and large houses to offer “afternoon tea”, which seems to be a disneyfied version of what the upper classes apparently used to have, but seems to just be an excuse to sell a few sandwiches or cakes for vastly increased prices. Im assuming that what the OP is asking about is this “afternoon tea”. Like many of these things, it seems to be something which exists more in the stereotype of British life than in most peoples real life. I, and most people I know, am as likely to have either high tea or afternoon tea as I am to put a bowler hat on before heading to work.
  7. There is no need to have reservations linked for shore excursions or dining reservations. UKstages is correct above regarding restaurants. One person can reserve for whoever they want. For shore excursions just book the same tour and turn up at the same time. Just let them know you are together when you pick up your number sticker and they will give you all the same number (so you will be on the same bus). I can’t think of anything which actually requires reservations to be linked.
  8. Yes, the terrace houses are the difference, and in my opinion are worth a more than an extra $14
  9. I think the OP is aware of what they are doing. He is asking when it will happen. Which NCL probably don’t know the answer to yet.
  10. For the last few cruises we have made Moderno the restaurant that we go to twice, so that we can split the different meats over the two, rather than feel we have to have everything. The pineapple is the one thing that I always get though. I'm not particularly fussy regarding how my meat is cooked, but my preference is medium rare, and I'd rather it wasn't cooked any better than medium. I have never had any problem with that at Moderno, and on one occasion when I asked for the filet rare they brought some out for me..
  11. They used to apply points for old cruises, but the latitudes pages now specifically say that they will only go back 12 months. Doesn’t hurt to ask, and you may be lucky, but I suspect that they will say mo
  12. I wouldn't worry anyway. Cruisecritic doesn't like people recommending TA's and things like that. Just mentioning the name of the agent you used in passing is unlikely to cause a problem.
  13. When the discounted additional meals were introduced earlier this year, they were only available on reservations booked after a specific date. I assume that is still the case, so if you can't see the upgrade my guess would be that your cruise was booked before that date.
  14. I don’t use Spotify, but I always make sure that I have plenty of music downloaded as I wouldn’t trust the ship internet to deal with streaming well enough.
  15. You need to click on the username. I usually post on my phone and often check that as people are often given incorrect information as people assume that they are from the US. In this case I didn’t check myself and only knew because you mentioned it.
  16. With the minor correction that there wasn’t a Mr o’Sheehan.
  17. We know. You are limited to one entree, that is all. Apps and desserts are unlimited, whatever the staff say. That is why we can be so confident when we say that. People report being told all sorts of conflicting things, but the actual charging is incredibly consistent.
  18. Why wouldn’t you use something that is included in your fare? It really isn’t complicated or confusing, despite how it is made to sound sometimes. If we are not doing things because things aren’t 100% clear then we should start with not getting on NCL ships, as they specialise in that. The slight inconsistencies in what people are told is included in the dining package are replicated in many areas on NCL ships.
  19. It changed when they started up after covid. We can only speculate at the reasons, and whether it will change back any time soon.
  20. So they are. Free at Sea is only guests 1 and 2 for us, so it is all correct. Guests 1 and 2 have the deals and no requirement for guest 3 to buy it.
  21. If you are buying the drinks package then everyone has to buy it, but that stipulation doesn’t apply with the free at sea deal. So if guests one and two get the package through free at sea then there is no requirement for guest three to buy it. Sometimes everyone in the room gets the deals, but I don’t know if that applies at the moment (I’m not in the US).
  22. Whatever. You may want to concentrate your replies on people who are actually disagreeing with your basic point now, or cares about this argument.
