We did some research and we have now booked this company. They responded right away, were very friendly and sounded professional. They are called Airport Transportation and Limousine service.

We haven't been there for a long time. We are going again in Jan too. Last time we just stayed near the port area and shopped. It felt safe to us. This time we are going to get a taxi and go to Chankanaab. Being 2 females though I don't know as I would go on your own. Even if you get a private tour it would be better maybe. Sorry I don't have any resent experience.

Galveston hotels with parking and shuttle to port

Not sure about the parking, but it seems hard to find any that shuttle to the port... -
When we went and came back to Galveston we were an hour or 2 late because of fog, I believe it was in Feb. I wouldn't do it...

At Chankanaab does the entrance fee allow you to use the whole park, like the sea lion show...? The entrance fee is $26 from what I see...

We go in Jan. We have only been to Cozumel before , but we just shopped there at the port. Chankanaab was closed. So we plan to go there this time. We plan to stay in port in Costa Maya and do the Bird Aviary. Roatan we want to snorkel & do the sloth &monkeys.

We are thinking of booking with them for the Fun n Sun tour, goes to the sloth, monkey's, and a beach after with some sites on the way. Has anyone done this one resently?

We don't have children with us. Just wanted a beach for a part day, and maybe get a pop and a bite to eat. Do you know if it is good snorkeling? or is there somewhere else. We are going to Chankanuub for one time, but trying to find something for our second stop there...
