  1. But, beware the storms that lie just over the horizon. An old investing phrase, I think. 😨
  2. They may not be transferrable. But how can they stop you from using it if you are sitting at the table with the "transferee"? You order 2 complete meals for yourself at the same time and slide half of the plates across the table. No guarantees that this will work, but it would be truly nasty for them to try and stop you when you are nominally ordering for yourself. What can they say - you're not allowed to give away your food?.
  3. Absurd. There's a zillion mattresses out there. Plenty of good ones among them. Buy from a local retailer and get either free delivery or a modest fee. And probably "white glove" as well.
  4. I have not had the opportunity to sail on an Oasis class ship. The previous RCCL ships have been known to have liberal amounts of public spaces relative to the number of passengers. I loved the Voyager class (Adventure). Loved Freedom even more (essential Voyager class on steroids). Quantum class - something a bit different (sailed on Anthem). For me, the only drawback on the size is the distance getting around. On the other hand, ever wander around the Venetian in Las Vegas? Or some of the other gargantuan hotels? Maybe worse than those mega ships.
  5. Eureka! 😮 You've figured it out, perfectly!
  6. Simplistic analysis. There's generally a driving force: Earnings reports/forecasts; reports concerning the industry (cruising or travel in this case); possibly overall trends in the stock market; economic forecasts (predictions about consumer spending will affect stocks, such as in the leisure travel industry.
  7. I seek out the unwanted seating areas - not near the pool or a bar. Usually aft part of decks. Yes, they may all be taken on a sea day. Cabin balcony is the back up.
  8. Think of them as upgraded inside cabins. No clue offhand what the upcharge is. It can be an interesting people watching opportunity (in the promenade, not the cabins across the way).
  9. The view, of course, is reversed on the return trip. Best view overall is on the left going up, on the right going back. You can move around at will; obviously depending on space available. As i recall, we spent some time outside of the car (between cars). Unobstructed for photos.
  10. So, no showering on the web. 🙄 Maybe it's implied in your reply, but how did the internet connection perform? i.e. smooth downloads, etc. Do you notice much variation at different times of the day? Some say that off hours yield better performance, while say, mid-day on a sea day will slow down due to heavy passenger usage.
  11. Thanks for giving all of us fans your insights. How's that internet been working for you? There have been some nasty comments about the Bliss internet. I'm guessing they don't have the Starlink upgrade as yet.
  12. Regarding sea days: Check the daily schedule regarding open lunch venues (on any day). At least one of the three MDR's will be open and possibly a specialty or two. Obviously, the buffet and the Local.
  13. Left while facing forward inside. Or, left side of train, not the rear nor front.
  14. Sounds just like the tour we took (ship's tour on RCCL). Loved it!
  15. Depends on which browser. You could google the question like: "how do you clear cache in firefox" In chrome, if you click on the 3 vertical dots at the far right of the top line, you will see the option about half way down the list..
  16. Hey, I didn't say that it was. I just didn't want to see you drown out there on your balcony, LOL.
  17. Check the email received after bidding. There's a link in it.
  18. Bonkers... the ultimate mission of all computers against humans; did someone say Skynet?
  19. Fair enough. Mostly, I was commenting on the fact that for each browser, some users have problems while others don't. Welcome to the world wide web. BTW, I mostly use chrome and I do not have issues with the NCL site.
