We were also on the same cruise as my good friend Mr N, as well as the previous one. I will read his thread soon but suffice to say that the plusses , for us, outweighed the minuses. Had a great time and would definitely return. Senior crew are well aware that the ship is not in the condition they would wish but the issues are mainly of a cosmetic nature.. Had a great time !!

Back from Onward on a back to back. To confirm, no testing between cruises, whether staying on board or going ashore. No difference whatever.

Currently onboard and on next voyage as well. Will post observations when home but this cruise has been really enjoyable. Public rooms excellent, food really good, staff terrific, other than front desk and their line manager. Had an issue that they dealt with abysmally. Resolved to my complete satisfaction by Tony,, the F and B manager as the Hotel Director, for understandable reasons, could not make our scheduled meeting. I only mention this as the poor front desk was previously mentioned. To summarise, if you coming on board, don’t worry unduly, you should enjoy a great cruise! colin

Sorry to not post earlier but no real opportunity!! Halo test at Sofitel Terminal 5 LHR was very smooth. Must download their app in advance. They allowed us to do our tests in their facility, as it was very quiet. If not, an area alongside can be used . Emailed results sent IMMEDIATELY, after upload, no wait at all. You do have to wait 15 minutes before uploading. In two words, easy peasy. At Ravenna embarkation AZ first checked test results. They were not interested in test timing, just the date and result. They then checked booster vaccination carefully, having established we had the requisite three vaccinations. Hope this “real world” experience helps. Finally, really enjoying our first AZ cruise. Will post some of our thoughts for other newbies when we return after our back to back.

Our UK TA did this and we have received emails from AZ. Maybe things have changed...or your TA needs to be advised !!

Hi This Thursday we are collecting LFTs from Halo at the Sofitel in Terminal 5 before our flight. Using the link from the BA website cost is £12 each. Very fast results. Our cruise departs Friday and I am absolutely confident that a test taken anytime the day before departure will work, having regard to the changed AZ wording, as detailed by others in this thread. Hope this may help.
