What's interesting is that Carnival won't operate the regular 7 Day Mexican Riviera anymore and instead the Panorama will do 6/8 Day Mexican Riviera cruises.

It's weird because my birth date is fine. It's my girlfriend's that is messed up. On the website (where you can change it), its correct as 8/23, but on the app (where you can't change it), its listed as 8/22. So when I try to upload her passport in, it won't let me because the birth date doesn't match.

Has anyone had their birthday appear incorrect on the app but it's correct on the guest information form on the website? Its off by a day on the app but you can't change it.

Does anyone have the pdf of the reference flyer?

What I don't understand is we know that Vision is doing Bermuda for the front half of 2025 but why isn't it available yet?
Based on the deployment flyer, I'm not seeing any Bermuda cruises on the Vision for early 2025.

I have only cruised Carnival so far, but I just booked an 11 day Alaska cruise on the Crown Princess. I paid less for the cruise in a mini suite than a 7 Day Carnival Alaska cruise in a balcony.

likely a improved Excel. that being said the Sun Princess might be a good smaller ship for them as the Destiny-Conquest classes continue to age,
The Sun Princess is only slightly smaller than the Excel class ships. The Sun Princess is 175,000 tons and the Excel class ships are 181,000-183,000 tons. The Sun Princess does have a smaller passenger capacity (4,300 vs. about 5,300), but if Carnival was to build a Sphere class ship it would more than likely have a much higher pax capacity than the Sun Princess.

For that same cruise I see July 5, not July 4.
I normally use safari, but I just checked using chrome and it shows the correct dates now. Interesting how that is.

Has anyone noticed that on the search function it shows one date, but then when you go to explore the itinerary, it shows another date?
For example this cruise, it shows it leaves on Thursday July 4, but when you go into the specific date by clicking explore this itinerary, it shows it leaves on Friday July 5. I've noticed this on multiple cruises.

does that mean no more Lobster or Prime Rib on formal nights
Here are the menus for the 8 day cruise. There is still lobster and prime rib.

I know the Panama Canal locks can accommodate pretty much any ship now but isn't it much cheaper to for the smaller ships? Hence why they only really move the Spirit class around, why don't they ever move Conquest class ships to the west coast?
For me I just can't see the Costa concept playing out, if more ships are transferred out I don't see them coming to Carnival unless they are overhauled to be 100% Carnival. I think they would go elsewhere in the corporation. As to the future viability of Costa I have no clue!
Before the pandemic happened it was planned for the Carnival Freedom to operate Alaska cruises and do Panama Canal cruises back and forth between the east and west coast.

Apparently we’re still a few people shy and there’s some Canadian law that there can only be one bar open per deck so the only bars on this ship that are open are atrium, Carnivale, rococo…maybe serenity.
at 6:15pm. Hard to find a place to sit. Hard to get a drink.

Same thing happened on my Spirit cruise to Alaska last year. A few hours before we sailed into Victoria they only had one bar open per deck.

I think deck 4 to deck 3 but will double check.
Thanks!

You can buy them from your cabin steward on the ship.

The dungeon! There were a number of pictures of Venice and at the end, the entrances to Circle C and Club 02. It was a letdown.
Interesting... So those stairs are on deck 3, leading down to Circle C and Club 02?

Does anyone have a copy of the original deck plans?

That's a picture of it. Is this a deal where you arrive at 8pm and everything is closed? Or is it better than that?
Calls to Prince Rupert are full daytime calls. It looks like usually 9am-5pm.

It was Deck 5 right past the Aft Elevators in the hallway leading to the Carnivale Bar and Lounge.
They're gone. There's a video in this thread of the lounge and its just seating now.

Some details of the world Cruise need to be firmed up. Istanbul is a prime example. The day by day itinerary for the world cruise shows a two hour stop in Istanbul which can't be right because Istanbul is the end of one segment. Not enough time to embark and disembark passengers.
The world cruise brochure shows 7 am to 6 pm (11 hours). I hope Crystal allocates as much time as possible to Istanbul. It is a port most cruises allocate an overnight stop.
Do you have a link to the brochure?
