I would also like to know what Sip and Sale promo includes. I checked the Princes website and the only beverage package was
the Premium Package mentioned, not including the soda package etc. Also with these packages do we still have to pay the
gratuities/ tips for the beverages each time we get one ? My daughter had to do that on Norwegian when they got a beverage
package . I should know this but we have not booked with the sip & sale before , usually just looking for the OBC and gratuities. Plan on booking soon and looking for my best deal, but also don't want to wait to long and miss it . Thank You for your help.

‡‡FREE Onboard Spending Money ofup to $600 per stateroom is based on voyage length. Offer is applicable to all guests (up to 4) in a stateroom. Guests with single occupancy will receive double the per guest credit amount. Spending money may be used on a single voyage only, is not redeemable for cash, cannot be used in the casino and expires at the end of that voyage. Offer is not transferable and may not be combinable with other select offers or other onboard credits. Onboard spending money is based on the ship’s onboard currency.

This is the first Princess Sale that I have seen that Includes OBC , that states the OBC may not be combinable with other OBC ? ( Share , Mil , Groups, etc. ) . That would not be a good thing .[emoji44]

I am wondering about that also ?? Book with future cruise credit ?, military ? obc, ?shareholder ? TA ?
Can any one clear that up ?
Thanks

We are on the 9/23 cruise that Slomo is on as well , I have been checking the web site to check on Canal excursions , nothing yet , hope they post them soon. We have been through the Canal 3 times we love that cruise , and also were in port at Panama City , great time there. Will have to see what happens I guess. Thanks Pam for the information regarding the excursions on your cruise before.

Would hate to see any negative changes to the very generous OBC program Princess has. No idea how Princess decides who will become crew with them but hope they don't change it because IMO they have the nicest, friendliest, and most professional crews at sea; especially those that work the hardest like wait staff and cabin stewards.
I agree with this, but was also thinking of please keep some ships with a true promenade deck for those of us that love walking out there .

Just want to say Thank You Coral for posting here on the boards about the $1 promo, I would not have known about it, we booked a cruise this morning, we were out of FCD so the $1 promo was good for us. We sure can count on the CC family to keep us informed.
Thanks

Booked RT Alaska out of LA 9-2018, got
Obc from our TA, did not have a long wait on phone like I expected, easy. We did not have any FCC left, so the $1 promo worked for us.
Of coarse we will keep watch for any other promo.
Thanks to the OP that told us about the $1 promo. I think it was Coral , Thank You.

Usually we are loyal ~~ can't beat the elite perks, OBC from CCL stock and veterans benefits, plus Princess has a great product with super itineraries. That said, I do cruise other lines occasionally and comparison shop when ready to book a cruise.
Yes , we agree with the above. However, we do take into consideration if the ship has a promenade deck, that is a game changer for us.

Make anytime dinning what it says, any time, first come first seated, no reservations.

I, too, have been on many Mexican cruises. I enjoyed the La Paz and Loretto ports much more than all of the others. Of course, it is a cruise favorite so Princess does just a few and charges more.
I agree, we also have done many Mexican cruises, and would say Sea of Cortez cruise shows you a more realistic view of Mexico, at least how I remember it years ago.
But if you are interested in snorkeling, you will find more of that in the Caribbean ports, just better snorkeling there. Have a great cruise.

Looking clearly, I see a passenger that is waiting in line at anytime dinning....or just a not happy whale.

Just booked excursions yesterday for Sept 2017 cruise, wording on personalizer was this excursion is not reserved until payment made, so I called Princess asked questions, told me I could use OBC already listed on my account, but it has not showed up as paid on reservation yet, so called again and was told that it takes some time to show up, will see what it shows today. Not a fan of this new system, we have always booked and paid once on board with OBC, then any excess on our on board account. Was looking at couple more excursions but now am rethinking that.

The liquid soap in the shower is pretty useless. I recommend to bring your favourite toiletries from home.
Agree with you, bring our own, however in a pinch, you can wash your socks and scivies with it. ;p

We have been cruising with Princess for some time. When Anytime dinning was introduced, it was really anytime, first come first seated, I do not remember any reservations. At times there we short waits , but not anything like now. It worked so much better then. And you showed your room card , now they really don' t check and some time the traditional dinning room passangers come as well, I don't think that is appropriate either. Anytime and reservations are two different concepts. I know many here on CC boards use the reservations in anytime , but personally I wish they would go back to anytime dinning as it use to be. But I don't see that happening. So it is what it is.

Watching the sea from our balcony or promenade deck, so beautiful, DH and I both love our time on a ship.Cori

Get to our cabin, open the door and AAahh we are home again. Put stuff in safe, quick wipe down of cabin, at some point meet with steward. Head to H court to see if they have scallops, some fruit. Set off to check out the ship, back to cabin , unpack what we can, go to life boat drill, back to cabin to sit on balcony drink wine and enjoy sail away..
After that it's all good.. do what we want , :Dwhen we want, we are cruising.. yippee:p

Darn it.
Now there's another thing I need to pack next to the door hanger organizer and the power strip for the cabin...
Just pack it with the super tape...

Live here about 20 min. From port, no rain right now wind had let up but expecting another storm moving in maybe late tonight or tomorrow, so the storm could be out at Sea now, might explain the ship's in port, at least one of the beach towns had some flooding due to the weather. My son lives near there he told me the berms (barriers) at Seal Beach had some issues. Can't complain, we really needed the rain, had a long drought here.

I agree with Thrak, We live right near Long Beach and the short drive from Long Beach to San Pedro cruise terminal involves two large bridges, lot's of terminal traffic and some road construction going on for a while now. Staying in San Pedro better choice. You will enjoy the Iowa, it is worth the time. Have a great cruise.
