A couple of hours is an inbetween area - we have stayed for an hour, just used a chair( no lounger or pool) and had a drink and not been charged fee or minimum. I think it would depend on how busy they are and what you can negotiate.

taxi about $20-25 each way. Price posted on a board at dispatch.

    Thanks for the info!

I don't think the pp amount is strictly monitored but depending on how many hours you plan to stay and ages of your children (children under 6 exempt) i don’t think $50 total for five people is an unreasonable amount to expect if you are using their facilities for a whole day.

Food and drinks at Paradise are not one of the cheapest beach bars and food and drinks even if shared soon add up.

there is an additional lounger fee of $3pp and a water pass fee for anyone who wants to use inflatables. Taxi fare for 5 will also be higher unless your children are really small.

We will likely only be there a couple of hours which is why I'm unsure if we will be able to spend $50 easily. If we do then great. I'm not opposed just don't want to have to order things we won't eat or drink.

Do you know the cost of taxi for 5? I've actually been looking for that and only see prices for 4. Thanks!

  3. We are a family of 5 planning on going to Paradise Beach in October. Is the $10 per person minimum enforced? We will eat and drink while there but my kids are super picky and we aren't big drinkers so I'm not sure we'd hit the $50. If this is an issue we will plan to go somewhere else. Thanks!

Mine were 10 and 14 where we did two non connecting staterooms.  I understand how you are not sure if you want them solo yet, but knowing that my kids get along very nicely and they would only be sleeping and getting ready one cabin (not sure how your kids are and your cruising style), I would go for the two staterooms.  With two staterooms you would get more space, more storage and 2 full bathrooms rather than 2 sinks, 1 shower, 1 bathtub, and 1 toilet.  Are your children independent enough for it though?  How old are they?

You can always book the adult and child in a room together, why the other adult and child(run) in another room, get extra keys, then have the kids sleep in the one room with the adults in the other to get around these rules. Just be sure to link the reservations!

I wouldn't worry about them, they are mature and well behaved. I worry about everyone else! Haha! They will be 11 and 13 when we cruise.

I have had such a hard time finding any camp ocean schedules. After many searches I can't find any posted on these boards, not sure if my search engine just isn't working properly. I was looking for recent ones for a miracle. I could only find some older schedules posted when I did a website search

Same here. I was hoping to find something more recent.

Well, when nature calls, and you're ocd like me, you have to have a plan... Traveling solo means there's no one to watch my bag while I'm in the restroom, so I bring several 13 gallon garbage bags, so as to not get urine or who knows what else on my stuff... I go to therapy for this, but it's not working out too well...

Sent from my Space Phone 9169...

This is an amazing idea that I'm stealing! But I also have diagnosed OCD so....

So we have done a cruise with a suite and a porthole cabin connecting (fantasy class) and have an upcoming cruise with two balconies connecting (vista class).

Just wondering if there are any standout connecting cabins. We are a family five and a fan of connecting cabins.

Following. I'd love to know for our upcoming cruise. We are a family of 5 as well. I'm going back and forth between a deluxe ocean view or connecting rooms (different ships).

I’ve never tried booking them myself. If you choose to do it yourself it does show what cabins are connecting when you are choosing them.

Since it only gives me a small block of cabins to choose from I think I'll have to call.  Thank you!
