  1. What about my feet?😁 Seriously though, it was so bright out that I was totally depending on point and shoot then hoping for the best. Fortunately, no selfies or finger in the photos.
  2. It is 72° and breezy here. Just got home from a bike ride wearing shorts and a t-shirt. The North Atlantic is feeling a bit frisky today thanks to Nicole or whatever that storm was named.
  3. What amazes me is the density of development that Florida has on its coasts. It is wonderful having the ocean on the other side of your back yard until that ocean decides that boundaries mean nothing to it. Then it is not so wonderful.
  4. Years ago when we were on Serenade, Capt. Stig brought us up close for a view of Montserrat. I remember it being so quiet up on deck as people took in the utter destruction of the area.It was so moving that I can still remember the captain of that sailing after all these years.
  5. They guess by the number of people staying in the cabin. Just ask for more if you need them
  6. Gordon was a great Canadian troubadour. I do some of his songs. Unfortunately, time and aging have not been so kind to him.
  7. As with many microbes, becoming infected produces natural antibodies. That doesn't mean you can't become reinfected. It means subsequent infections will either remain subclinical (produce no symptons), or have milder symptoms, and hopefully will be of shorter duration. What is pretty clear, at least to me, is that becoming infected produces antibodies to many more proteins of the covid virus than the vaccines do. This should provide better protection from subsequent infections since, as the virus mutates, you have better odds that you will have antibodies that match up with some parts of the virus.
  8. Dryer just fixed here too. The bearings in the shaft that the drum rotates around were worn. For $110 it was an easy fix and no new dryer needed.
