  1. I got covid on my third cruise post start up. I'm very confident that the elevators had a big part in that. People cram into a small space and feel the need to talk and laugh and spread their respiratory secretions further. People just don't think.
  2. I don't think there really is a story line. I *think* it is about the various adventures that you can experience by reading a book. So you get unrelated segments with no actual story. Agree about getting there early as many of the seats are very uncomfortable or have poor sight lines.
  3. Yes, with all the walking I already do during the port stop, it just seem like a long walk out to that second pier.
  4. Odyssey is not using facial recognition. There is still a slight sound when the machine reads your card.
  5. I've been to the ostrich farm there. We really enjoyed the experience. That is one of the very few ship sponsored excursions that we've done. It was a lot easier than planning it on our own. It also included a stop at the aloe plantation. That turned out to be very interesting, too.
  6. My last two stops there RCI seems to be getting the less convenient pier.
  7. That is one of many reasons why I prefer the Windjammer. Meals happen on my schedule and time frame.
  8. What don't you like about them? Just point to your choice and don't actually touch it.... and don't lean against the panel!
  9. Nice itinerary but too bad not more time in Bermuda. That isn't really enough time considering the Dockyard is not centrally located at all. We found plenty to fill up the 3.5 days that we were there.
  10. I was joking. You seem to come home with more than you leave with.
  11. No idea how I missed this thread until today.
  12. So you book cruises when your bank account starts to get get low?
  13. Do you ever have breakfast in the Solarium Cafe? That is my usual go to place on an O class ship.
  14. Some pre show drinks improve the experience.😉
  15. And I sure would not book a ship specifically to see that.
  16. I agree. This will be unending torture for the family, far worse than when a family member passes away.
