Read in the paper this morning that singer Melanie Safka passed away. I liked her song "Beautiful People". I also thought she was quite beautiful herself back in the day.
@Ashlandstated it perfectly. We haven't used the MDR in years. When cruising restarted after the shutdown initially they were not opening the Windjammer for dinner. If they didn't start opening before our first cruise came up I would have cancelled.
I was going to use a cash account on my upcoming cruise and pay it off the last morning. However, when I did the checkin for the cruise it said unless I set up a credit card account I would have to complete checkin at the pier. I wanted to just get it finished.
I tend to believe them also. We were on one cruise (don't remember which ship) when they had suspended having to check out the towels. At the end of every day towels were all over the Solarium and pool deck. It was pretty disgusting. I'm glad they made people start checking them out again.
Based on your experience at Trinidad & Tobago, would you recommend that people seek out a cruise going there or go if those islands just happen to be on the ship and itinerary that one booked?
That is why I like returning to various ports. On the first visit I always have a plan and it is to get as much in as possible as you never know if you will have a second chance. On subsequent visits I am so much more relaxed and open to just playing it by ear.
