You will get a receipt with the cost of the drink + 18% and the total. You can also add more gratuity if you choose or hand over some cash if you choose. The total on the receipt will show up on your cabin bill. You can also track these charges with the RCI app on your phone. The charges show up very quickly after the bar staff enter them into the computer.

Never opened when we were on Serenade. -
Celebrity Horizon NYC to Bermuda for us. Next was RCI Explorer of the Seas as we just had to try one of those "mega" ships. The rest is history. Preparing to board a ship never gets old. I'm really excited for Odyssey in less than two weeks.

Did you have any issues with your reservation after you cancelled the drink package? It seems like we read quite a few posts about people being told they owe balances after getting cruise planner refunds.

When we did the Southern Caribbean on Serenade with Capt Stig, on leaving St. Lucia he brought us down to the Pitons. He stopped between them did a 360 with the ship and then stayed there giving us all an amazing sunset. So he did give everyone a view. Awesome captain.
