We just booked a balcony cabin for 6/19 on Oasis!! Not many cabins left, but we got one with an ocean view!!!!!!! Only 3 weeks away! We were able to book almost every show at decent times and have a great time for MTD and specialty restaurants! WOO HOO!!!! All of the reviews of Oasis on CC have made me so psyched! Thanks for all the great posts! :)

This was not posted to debate the racial issues concerning Paula Deen and I can confidently say that since it was my DH that posted the original post. We want to know if the overall cruise experience would be significantly affected by having a 'theme' on board. She only had 130+ people on her last cruise in February. We don't think she's gained much popularity back in 4 months. Oasis is HUGE! We are leaning toward her group not being that big a deal to us. We appreciate any valid and relevant input. Thanks to those who already responded and to those who will add their thoughts. :)

I love working out on my cruises (actually--any vacation I go on!) whether it's inside or outside! The fitness centers on the ships are usually more than adequately supplied. One thing to note---if you normally run with a Garmin or any other GPS device, it won't track properly while the ship is moving. The ship is moving one direction and you are sometimes running opposite or you're running in the same direction but the speed on the ship in that direction messes it up. My GPS graphs looked crazy from my ship runs when I tried it! LOLOL Working out also burns a those extra consumed calories or maybe gives you justification for that extra dessert!!! :)

I like to run outside before it gets too hot and humid (which it seems like it is always like that on the Caribbean cruises although we had a freak hot week in Alaska last year) maybe around 6am so I'm up at 5am, eat a banana, get dressed, run, then come back to the cabin for a shower, pick up my husband, and go eat a proper breakfast around 8am. :)
So stinkin excited!!!

This will be our 8th cruise and our first less traditional one. We wanted to try something a little different. Everyone's pictures, reviews, and videos have totally pumped us up!!!! I can already see myself zip lining, rock climbing, and eating a lot of 'stuff'!!!!!
