  1. Five sentences to state you decline…lol…Give us something, food, entertainment, pricing, etc?
  2. Was on her the sailing before, they had a huge glass bowl with peanut M&Ms, I have never noticed them before but once while waiting in a long line saw one person arrive with a plastic cup and they scooped the m&ms into the cup until it was full. On every sailing you'll most likely see several things you've never seen before, this was one of them On my sept-Oct Millie cruise at the buffet for breakfast, I saw a woman ask a crew member who was tending the coffee machine for paper coffee cups, he grabbed a sealed sleeve of packed cups, as he was attempting to open it she just grabbed the whole sealed sleeve out of his hands and walked away...lol
  3. To add, another dynamic is shoreside employees who are the ones feeding the TAs, usually speak in fleet-wide terms yet each ship may do things a bit different
  4. Buffet Theme days/nights are nothing new however perhaps they'll advertise this more
  5. Chefs play a big part in food yet the cruise lines also need to ensure they're budgeting for quality ingredients. Have a Lawn Club Grill (fee) burger than a buffet/Mast Grill (free) burger
  6. You do AQ primarily for Blu, everything else is nice minor perk. If you book a Spa treatment you get spa access and can even buy a pass if you book another room type
  7. There can be pre-cruise discounts in the cruise planner There can be discounts once on board There are package discounts
  8. Just saying this to be helpful, searching does indeed work well
  9. Correct; pointing out it does play in certain locations if you'd rather not watch it from a personal device or pay for wifi
  10. So we know FOR SURE that the pillow chocolates came back due to the CC forums and not on board complaints?
  11. Things can change at any time yet do we have any recent examples of action taken? 95% of people wanted the buffet to continue to be staff-served, that ship has long sailed
  12. Absolutely, just some FYIs... -I just email them with "When I try to bid on booking #XXXXXX it says it's not eligible, could you please make it eligible?" - However you ask, be sure to include your booking number - Usually takes 1-2 weeks to receive a reply from the moveup email address -Don't bother with anyone else at X, only that dept seems to be able to make your booking eligible
  13. It's being reported the $10/$20 CC/AQ updates are now "dead" for 2023
  14. Like anything it comes down to the difference in cost
  15. Totally agree and many frequent X cruisers stopped going to shows. I've been on 7 nights and a 15 nighters, every night but two is in form or another is a musical, one night a comedian and one night is a magician. RCL/CCL/NCL offer far more varied entertainment
  16. Generally, no one at X is paid to read the boards or take action. All levels of employees do read these boards on their own and occasionally the employee will take action, sometimes that action is passenger-friendly and other times it's cruise line-friendly
  17. This is a pretty fascinatingly read: https://www.courier-journal.com/story/news/crime/2022/08/25/tourists-beware-popular-mexico-getaway-plagued-by-violent-drug-cartels/65417543007/
  18. Didn't know and that makes sense as south florida is the cruise capitol of the world
  19. Totally agree...FYI, Holding parent company is now RCG/Royal Caribbean Group and the cruise line is now RCI/Royal Caribbean International
