  1. Food is highly subjective and folks should eat what they like the most. While a ribeye will have the beefiest flavor of any steak, tenderloin has it's own milder beefy flavor
  2. I've written "please return shirts on hangers" slip and twice was ignored. However, once Select you do get two free items "pressed" and once Elite, you get one item drycleaned which will be pressed. One of the first things I do when enter the stateroom is to check to see if there are any laundry forms because often, the attendant can appear in a few minutes of hearing your door open and can ask for two forms (one for pressing/dry cleaning and one for laundry) if they're not there. Will usually explore the ship and come back after sailaway and by then the luggage should be there and will leave out the shirts that need pressing before turndown
  3. Have you tried a filet from your favorite farm? The filet is indeed the most tender cut of beef which is why its the most expensive cut of beef With wine, you should read about the study where tricked wine experts by dying white wines red and had them describe their "red" wines https://www.realclearscience.com/blog/2014/08/the_most_infamous_study_on_wine_tasting.html
  4. FYI: This has been discussed and for whatever reason it was being offered on the last night. However that was three weeks ago in 2022 and since there has been many cutbacks 2023, perhaps it is indeed gone
  5. We’ve heard it a few times on here but it’s generally rare. A bit less rare is folks who have dinner in Luminae but later on hit the buffet for a snack
  6. But that’s only one example from each line…
  7. She’s a great ship that has been revolutionized. M-Class ships have the indoor whirlpool which is available to anyone. Only M-Class downside is in AQ, not a enough seating in Blu during peak times and the spa thermal lounger is one giant bench. Food is very subjective, while the MDR/Buffet will be a little bit better than carnival (carnival beats them at desserts), guys burgers blows away celebrity’s mast grill/buffet burgers
  8. Hasn’t worked for me lately in either the MDR or Blu. Longest wait is on chic night with lobster
  9. Have never booked a suite on X so I don't know what is considered expensive...There are 5 sailings under $600/night which would be the cheapest in 2023
  10. One more: "I used to identify as a man, now I identify as a man wearing shorts"
  11. How about "pants trigger me, makes my legs feel too claustrophobic"
  12. Can probably find some doctor to sign off on "they're my EMOTIONAL SUPPORT shorts" 🤣
  13. With any kind of travel, the key is to be flexible, obviously this won't work for everyone yet many can get a week off of work with a few notice without issue. On the sailings cruise lines can't fill, as they get closer to the sail date, they'll greatly reduce pricing. Most cruise article contributors never mention this when interviewing cruise execs who state they're raising pricing. That's only the initial pricing, again if there are vacancies they will greatly lower the price. For example, the following is the per person fare before fees and taxes but is the cheapest suites. Focus on the right most column which lists the per night; you can do the same thing with E-Class sailings if you wish:
  14. A patio table isn't the easiest to get but wanted to surprise someone for their 30th BDay but yes it was so hot (lol)
  15. In Vegas they have some Bellagio restaurants with outdoor patios overlooking the fountains, they make the men wear pants even when it's 110f. The restaurant Prime, had a stock of black slacks you could borrow
  16. Also much easier to sit by the window or if one prefers they can find a table outside
  17. If you're okay with paying a little for food, on embarkation day lunch give sushi a shot Many, including myself find the Mast Grill very underwhelming...Burgers are bland and not worth the calories, RCL J.R.s and Guys burgers on Carnival does some great tasting burgers. The Mast Grills hot dogs are some of the worst food on the ship or simply inedible. The good news is its free, try for yourself once and decide if you want to go back
  18. Most of these great tips are fleet wide, however just a FYI that the The Lawn Club is only on two ship including the Reflection
  19. Expectation: People follow the dress code Reality: they most likely let you in with shorts but if another passenger complains when your dinner service is over and you’re on your way out, a dining staff member will tell you to wear pants next time
  20. RCI said about the new fee for additional lobster tails that they were READING feedback yet they still implemented the charge fleet wide. You aren't supposed to assume but it's a safe assumption to say they received far more "get rid of the fee" than "I love the new lobster fee!". Most likely all these cruiseline-friendly changes will remain unless they see its hurting their bookings. They put a great emphasis on the Retreat yet most Retreat guests won't experience these cutback or encounter the new fees. It's like the IVs on the E-Class, if IVs are so cool and innovative, why aren't they on ANY of the ships suites?
  21. There is but its very scaled down; think it's now the senior officer party which usually has a raffle
  22. If the non-AI rate, free coffees would be the biggest perk
  23. When you get your bay back, dump it out on the bed and find and remove the tags before putting them away
  24. I never noticed they had boozed, thanks for sharing
