  1. If waiting in line is stressful, you would greatly benefit from getting Global with includes pre-check. It's only around $100/5 years (only $20/year) and as a bonus you get to keep your shoes on and only go through a metal detector vs a scanner. Some credit cards with annual fees that you can offset may offer global for free
  2. A travel quite a lot and when a connection is cancelled, they'll generally rebook you and you can go online and change to another flight without paying a fare difference. Just some questions, did you book your flights yourself or go through a TA? Was the NY to Barcelona flight booked on Delta? When you say "Delta as well, and got nothing", sounds like they didn't automatically rebook you, so you informed them your flight got cancelled and they came back with nothing, no offer to put you on the next flight?
  3. Got global so stopped using this, no idea they’re still doing this but it used to be you had to enter everything into your profile. Passport #, expiration, all your trip details, answer questions, take a photo and the free version of the app wouldn’t let you save anything unless you paid. So it would take 5-10mins to populate or you go through the airports facial recognition in far less time and have nothing to populate.
  4. 100% agree…There’s only a certain amount of rooms released to the bcc, furthermore if you use the online request form, they’ll pick the sailing and stateroom. And again, only way for sure to see if you qualify for the AQ upgrade is to call.
  5. You would need to call to determine if you qualify for AQ, you get additional amenities plus a room change. everyone gets free drinks while playing, regardless if it’s a comped room or not
  6. Pick out some sailings and call them, in addition to booking it right there and then its the only way you can determine if you qualify for $10/night aquaclass. You can book flight by celebrity but because they charge a $200 change/cancel fee (after final payment), I prefer to book directly with the airline who don't charge fees (unless you book basic economy)
  7. Only reason I can think of is to join friends/family who are not staying in suites
  8. For those who are still interested in going down this rabbit hole, they're welcome to do their own research...
  9. On embarkation day the MDR is open for lunch for Concierge, Zeniths and B2Bs; guessing suite guests can go as well
  10. While that's possible, they're scammers, not sure how having your actual voice is any different than forging a voice. Therefore in most cases, when you say yes it simply validates that they have a valid number. Found this on the MN gov't page
  11. It's one of the shortest tender rides so the only thing is waiting for the tender to somewhat fill up before they leave. I would imagine the first three tenders won't have issues waiting to fill up.
  12. Jan 2nd and anyone's guess as to the schedule since X has replaced the published schedule with "coming soon". They've technically already "slipped" the schedule because during their original press release they stated all ships " by the end of Q1". It would appear 8 of 12 ships would have it by the end of Q1 which is good but not the deployment isn't as fast as advertised
  13. I've confirmed with X the Eclipse deployed Starlink on schedule. Someone on CC said they heard they're ahead of schedule for the Edge
  14. It completely depends on the all-in price difference as you need to ensure you're factoring in tipping. Water...During the happy hour, you can hit a bunch of a bars grabbing two waters as you go. Put that celebrity tote to good use. Alcohol...You can buy some drinks on board the ship and still come out ahead. For the sea day drinkers, remember that unless it's a TA/TP/etc there won't be too many seadays per sailing so a bucket of beer on a sea day won't break the bank. A lot of folks don't know this, you can buy the internet, drink package or internet/drink upgrade mid-sailing and only pay the prorated per night amount. On a 7 night sailing each night is 14%.
  15. For drinks at the casino, if it's slow you can ask the pitboss to find a drink server for you. Order doubles or multiple drinks. With wine, you can put two in your checked luggage and two in your carry on
  16. You don't need to alert the pitboss, they'll occasionally come over with their iPad; if you see the pitboss start to approach your table, if you have the means to bet more do so and when he leaves back off your bet.
  17. Cell phone carrier international day pass, as you state it doesn't work on seadays which is usually when people want the internet. In port, there's often free wifi at the terminals or near by bars/restaurants.
  18. No. Even worse is they seem to like to have them when there's a 7am port day the next day
  19. If you qualify for an offer you can call however once they free cruise blitz go out the wait times can be long
  20. And don't worry, it will be extended for Cyber Monday...lol
  21. Ask the security person who scans your card on port days when getting on or off the ship, "could you please tell me the exact number of total passengers on this sailing?"
  22. Yes, it was ready, boarded at 1215pm. If you're on a holiday sailing or arrive at 11am, not sure if it'll be ready or not. I've been on 9 sailings since the restart, the rooms have always ready when boarding
  23. It's not offered on any X sailings like RCL offers although higher-end suites do have unlimited dining as an amenity
