Those of you who found better reds what were the ones you enjoyed?

If they add something in its place but that doesn’t usually happen. Better included wines would be great .

Like everything else today pay more and get less.

Seems more and more things that made Regent soo special are going away due to cost cutting measures but prices continue to increase.

We just received our luggage tags and cruise documents in a white envelope. What has happened to the very nice holders for the cruise docs? Have they done away with these? our last cruise was last May and we receives one for that cruise.

We booked a tours by local guide for the transfer.

We have a private transfer with a tours by local guide. Pick up at ship tour Seward and drive to anchorage with stops along the way and tour Anchorage with a late lunch and drop off at airport. Our flight departs at 8:00.

Yes we have kept eyes on our cruises and if there is a reduction prior to final payment we call our TA and ask for the reduced price. One time we said we would cancel and rebook if necessary but Regent finally gave the reduced price. Good luck.

That is what our cruise shows but when I called Regent they said no contract was signed yet and would not know until the end of Jan.

I called Regent and the lady said the Sheraton but the web site for our cruise says the Fairmont . She said they will not have the contract until the end of Jan. If that is the case why on the cruise website does it say Fairmont? Our group is going in 3 days early and touring Vancouver and then hopefully staying in the same room for the 1 night pre cruise hotel offered by Regent. We have done this in the past many times without an issue, but who knows now with all the uncertainties going on.

The funny t hing I never paid attention to the time we disembarked but most of the time we need to get to airport. This time our flight does not leave Anchorage until 8:45. So working on a driver and a tour and lunch prior to arriving at airport so not in a big hurry to disembark. Thank you nccruzqueen

If our ship arrives in port at 6:00 am 2hat time will everyone be required to be off ship. Need to notify driver time to pick us up.

It is the one in downtown but we cannot do the sky train as my husband uses a cane and that is way too risky.

What are the best private transfer companies for transferring 4 adults from airport to Fairmont downtown?

We will be in Alaska in May and there are 4 Adults. Our flight does not leave Anchorage airport until 8:45. Looking for suggestions for a private transfer including a tour on the way for 4 adults. Some of the group tours only allow 1 piece of luggage per person and we might have more.

I know staying in second bedroom pay for air and hotel at least that is my understanding but what about excursions do they receive the discount or pay full price for those?

We booked the Master Suite for an Alaska Cruise and our daughter and niece are going and occupying the second bedroom. When we booked their fare was the lowest veranda h fare listed for guest 3 and 4 and our was the original fare for the Master Suite. We are still several months out from final payment and I noticed yesterday that the fare had decreased in the Veranda h suite by a $1000 plus dollars for the Veterans Day discount. I called my TA and he said that this did not apply and Regents policy was not that guest 3 and 4 in the Master suite fare was the lowest fare listed. Several people on this site have stated that when they booked the Master Suite that guests 3 and 4 did in fact receive the lowest fare advertised in the Veranda h suite but I do know that they must pay 150 each for pre cruise hotel and for Air if they chose Regent air. I am not sure what to do as we are talking over 2000 difference in price for 2. Any suggestions?

I would like to add that on our cruise Barbados to Barbados in Feb has listed pre cruise hotel , transfers, and air included in all inclusive but in fact none of these are included. You are on your own regarding these. I called Regent and my TA but not included at least when we booked but a few people from UK they are included. There advertising is not always correct.

Rome and Rome in Limo is a great private tour company. We have used them both times we have been to Rome.

Yes I wish Regent would put zippers in their bags. Hopefully the new ones have a zipper.

If you deviate and go in a few days early but use Regent air do you lose the transfers to?
