  1. Arcadia was built without an officers crew mess this is why they use the buffet in the evening.
  2. The cards are now placed in your cabin. Not much use as you have usually had lunch before you are allowed access to your cabin. Another covid precaution.
  3. Thanks for the reply's. Its just that when you pre book the 20% discount is not mentioned and I wondered if they had discontinued this offer.
  4. Is the discount automatically applied on board the ship as it is not mentioned in the Cruise Personaliser when booking?
  5. Interesting that Sindu offer 20% discount pre booking on Iona and Arvia and don't on Aurora.
  6. Kalos, I too am concerned about the events with Britannia but was just replying to comment #4 by Fionboard.
  7. What amazes me is that these people do not realise that the person who as done this before them might not be as hygienic as themselves.
  8. Arrival times and the time you are allowed of the ship are totally different and can depend on many factors.
  9. Just a tip for booking Epicurean if it states fully booked on the "app". Try making the booking for a party of three. Even if there is availability for two you can often get more choice in dining times if you increase your party size. This works in all the speciality restaurants.
  10. Docking in Liverpool is totally dependent on the river tides.
  11. Also beware the cabin door takes forever to close and you can be half way down the corridor before it does.
  12. On Iona the Chefs Table can be booked for all the Formal Nights on the cruise you are not limited.
  13. Yes but have you had the email with the change of itinerary?
  14. To CliveJ. I think you are fully aware of what the guidelines are and also you know that nobody can answer your question of will you get into the MDR on any specific date. It just seems that you are willing to push the boundaries as far as possible and then come back and gloat that you were allowed entry if you do get in. My view is that the guidelines are set and have been relaxed over time to try and accommodate as many passengers as possible. But I also think its totally unfair on the restaurant staff to put them in a position to have to offend passengers by having to refuse entry.
  15. If you check P&O's website It states on Celebration Night and Black Tie night the following dress code applies. Celebration Nights give you the option to put your most fashionable foot forward. Elegance is the order of the evening… a chance to wow everyone with a favourite cocktail dress, tuxedo, ball gown, DJ, or a suit, jacket and tie. You may also wear formal national dress or military uniform. Again, whatever style preference, simply join in the mood and chic of the evening. Iona Main Dining Restaurant, The Crow's Nest, Opal, Pearl, Coral, Aqua, The Epicurian, The Chef's table and Sindhu restaurant
  16. Maybe the sign is to indicate a mimimum dress code. Ie no swimwear or naked torso.
  17. Check Fred's website under Covid Protocols all the information is there. As I read it you only need a negative covid lateral flow test cassette taken within 24 hrs of the departure date.
