This is a very short distance from the airport, the site was much better than I expected with many double height remains from the original port of rome from ancient times

If you like historical sites it's well worth a visit, it's also on the same train line that goes to the Rome lido, beach area

Last cruuse we were diamond but had a drinks package included so never needed to find out

We would have been charged £75 pp but this was waived as we are Elite on Celebrity (one change free of charge) I was determined not to lose our £300 deposit by cancelling altogether. Unbelievable policy!!

If you want spectacular mountain railways you need to go to Switzerland.

a few years ago we purchased a visitor rail pass for 14 days from Geneva airport, it cost around £130 and allowed us to travel on all trains, buses and boats free of charge.

you only pay for private railways up to the top of the mountains and cable cars, then you get 50 % discount.

These are indeed high compared with last year

Almost double what we paid last year, hence nothing booked for this summer, I cannot believe many uk pax will be willingly paying these prices.

The caribbean prices do seem a lot better, but there is a lot of capacity and competition which will keep the price down.

There is usually a better draft beer choice on ships based in UK, where they can bring the barrels on-board each turn around.

saying that we were on Athem when it did the UK season and some of the supposedly UK beers on draft were awful

My guess is that they badged them wrong, as they tasked nothing like the beer we get in pubs in the UK

With Celebrity, the basic package includes cans of soda and water

They did when I typed in jersey the correct connecting flight s showed up , for the return journey as well. I was to nervous to hit the final button! But got them eventually.
