  1. I got off the ship last week. Mainly I got bottled water but one time I got a can of water. You just don't know.
  2. This will be my second cruise Monday having 340 points but both were under 7 days so no extra for me. Thank you for your Navy service, I did 4 years as an EM.
  3. I will find out Monday, I’ll be on the Mariner. If there is changes, I will post them.
  4. There is a phone number at the bottom of one page.
  5. I am not scared. So far I haven't had any symptom & hope to keep this up.
  6. You are correct, I misread the OP. In my head I was thinking FLL. Thanks for the correction.
  7. We use SAS, ridesas.com They will pick up at certain hotels, they are listed on their web site. It's $15.00 per person each way. They will also pick you up at POM to go to FLL.
  8. We were on the Jewel in December, we used Cortran. Getting off of the ship was real easy, even early. When we got to the shuttle, we were before our scheduled time. They were waiting for us so we loaded up & drove to the airport. Then I got a text saying our flight was cancelled. Book the shuttle time to make sure you have enough time at the airport. If you don't have pre TSA, the line was long, one in our party didn't have it. we had a long wait. At least we got out to go home on the 23rd.
  9. They were a great band to listen to on the Jewel last month.
  10. This is from Royal's website: Alcoholic Beverages (Note: On boarding day, each stateroom may bring up to two 750 ml bottles of wine or champagne. Guests who purchase alcohol bottles onboard, in a port-of-call, or bring more than the two permitted bottles on boarding day, will have their items safely stored by the ship. These bottles will be returned on the last day onboard for enjoyment once home. Alcoholic beverages seized on embarkation day will not be returned. Guests may also bring non-alcoholic beverages as carry-on items on boarding day. Non-alcoholic beverages may not exceed 12 standard (17 oz.) cans, bottles or cartons per stateroom. Milk and distilled water brought on for infant, medical, or dietary use are permitted.
  11. Ouch, I like that one because it is so close to a grocery store & places to eat. Also, SAS will pick me up there to take me to the Port of Miami. It may not be the best but I don't need a lot.
  12. Which Best Western, they have more than one in the area.
  13. Go on the Joy's roll call of sailing yet to start & try to ask someone to buy a magnet from that ship to mail to you. Figure out a repayment plain along with postage. It's worth a try.
  14. We rented a car at MCO, the next morning we went to drop it off, it was over 45 minutes wait in line just to drop off the car. Outside was a large group of people waiting for the Budget shuttle to take them to the ship. Next week I am doing the same thing but I will drop the car off early hopefully beating the crowd trying to rent a car or drop one off. They only had 2 employees working. They would alternate, rent a vehicle, then check in a drop off. A person working said this crowd was nothing, normally they have lines outside of the building.
  15. We used Budget's shuttle & got the easy in route.
  16. There are shuttles in Orlando that will pick you up at certain hotels the morning of the cruise & take you to the port for around $30.00 per person one way, they will also pick you up after the cruise to take you to the airport for the same price. The trip to the port is 45 minutes or more to the port, depending on traffic, then there is also the traffic at the port leaving and coming to deal with.
  17. Good question, if anyone knows please answer, I may be needing to know in a little over a week.
  18. We were just there 12-17, the line of cars to drop off passengers was very long. Plan for a long wait, if you Uber, they may be delayed because of the traffic.
  19. I flew with one in my checked bag this month, I still have it after our return flight.
  20. I just did it with a rental car on the 17th, the rental place said it would cost $13.00 to use their pass where it was only a little over $5.00 in tolls. We used the pay lanes instead of the exact chance ones, it was only a couple of minute wait to go through the toll. I didn't want to dig around for the change.
