Did you have any kind of kettle or coffee maker in your stateroom? If not, did you happen to see/hear of anyone talking about that they do (or don't) have one? Making coffee is pretty important to some of us!

I'm headed to the UK this summer as well. Read this for Scottish history: A History Of Scotland Kindle Edition by Neil Oliver Great read. Slow start but it was pretty riveting once the Vikings stopped raiding all the seacoast villages! Enough info there to understand and appreciate what was going on without getting too granular. Would like a recommend for Ireland like that.

Say I feel bad the day before we debark. I use one of my tests. Yup. Covid positive. Tell the airline I can't fly. Now what? Do I have to tell London health authorities? Do I have to tell my hotel? Do I have to stay put in my hotel room for five days? I don't want to do anything wrong or violate the rules but Mr. Google is not helping me find the rules...

Uh ... not in my iPhone. All I get is "Allow MedallionClass to access" and then photos, bluetooth, camera, siri & search, notifications. Can't open the app from there and can't see a version number. iPhone folks? Help?

Any way to check whether you have the most current version of the app? Don't really want to risk a delete app if I am up to date. Yeah, I know ... you're not going to lose your data... but I am a "if it isn't broke don't fix it" guy. I *think* I'm up to date. How do you check that?

A very good friend of mine is in the travel industry and is saying their system is d-o-w-n. Big time down. Travel agents can't even book. It's not you. It's them.

Anybody using those sleeves or covers you can put on your luggage? Sure would make it easier to identify my suitcase. Wonder if it helps longevity?

We gave up buying expensive luggage - it seemed to get destroyed just as fast as the cheap stuff. And you can buy five or six cheapies for the price of one expensive one - and then you've got new bags, not beat up ones. guess when we think about what happens to your luggage in the bowels of an airport, on trailers out to the plane, thrown in the baggage hold, thrown back off the plane and vomited up onto a moving carousel... well, our luggage lives a tough life. And that's before it gets thrown into those giant cart/baskets and wheeled onto the ship. A couple of years ago we bought these big black Coleman softsiders at Wally World that were cheap. And ... they have endured marvelously well. Kinda stunned. We'll use'em until they break and then go get more I guess. Big summer of travel. We'll see how they look by this fall!
