  1. hi has anyone on here used intercruise for transfer to ships dock?

I have looked online and found old posts, some say can take more than one case even though intercruise say one suitcase each paying customer.

Anyone recently took more than one case?

Also surprised at time given for journey, do they do lots of pick ups?

    Thank you

  2. Don't want to put dampener on cruise, we have sailed on the dream twice, first time a few years ago we really enjoyed it, everything, food, entertainment, staff, we went back on the dream in December it was awful, run down, dated, very very poor food, dining room very cold, very poor quality food served, always cold, we love to dine in the dining room we gave up after 3 nights of being served rubbish. Some of the entertainment was good. Some was hard on the ears it was so bad, show team left a lot to be desired. I would never never go back on the dream.

  3. Sorry I meant to add the cruiseline never gave her my name, she was allowed one very short call to our stateroom, sadly we were not in and she left a msg on the phone, with her asking me to email her, but left incomplete email address(s) as I said she didn't ask me to hand it to desk she wanted personal dealings with whoever was in the cabin. The cruiseline had told her they could not ask new guests to check room or safe and they could not come to our stateroom to pass on any messages. We would have not minded had the cruiseline asked us it would have been much easier had they done so, we assumed the owners of ring may have had a previous bad experience with lost property.

  4. Did they contact the cruiseline and ask if the ring was found? I assume they did because she got your name from somewhere?

If so, she would have gotten it back a lot sooner than 2 years

Cruiseline wouldn't help her, in her tel msg she left on our cabin phone, her email address she left contained two names, I msg lots of people around the world, I got scam emails, when I eventually found the owner I needed info from her to confirm she was the genuine owner. I asked for the cabin number, date of cruise, photo of ring, she sent me all those details, including GIA certificate. And copy of the cruise booking docs, I was in no doubt then the ring was hers, we spoke on the phone and shared stories of what I had done to find her, and she told me how she left it and how cruiseline couldn't help, but I got it back to her in the end, but yes took just short of two years.

  5. My hubby found a ring in our cabin, we got a call from previous guests in that cabin, she asked that I emailed her. She didn't ask me to hand it to guest relations, She left two different email addresses. I emailed her she never replied, we took ring home, along with tel msg we had written down. I spent uncountable hours trying to locate the owner with no joy. I used social media, contacted cruiseline with no success. Almost two years later I found the owner.

The lady and her husband were delighted, it was very valuable. She was reunited with her ring. Turns out she gave me wrong email addresses she had missed out details, probably due to stress at the time. She had moved house three times. But good outcome for her. Years of work for me.

  6. DO NOT go to the beach that is in town in St Martin. Although it may “look” nice the water is polluted. Apparently sewage drains into the water there. This has been a known issue for years. Supposedly they are “ working” on it. Goggle Great Bay pollution in St Martin for more info.

Wow thanks for that info, sounds scary, are you suggesting we do what previous poster says, get a water taxi, if so to where? Where is safe?

  7. The fact that venues were full during BOGOF suggests very loudly to me that the offer was extremely popular with guests. The fact that if venues are quiet now adds weight to my thoughts that people were not there for the venue but the offer, and sounds like more guests were happier with the offer than the odd ones who didn't like it.

  8. Alamo office is across 17th Street from the port entrance. But make sure you reserve to drop off there rather than the airport.

Contacted Alamo and asked to change drop off to port, but there is a charge.

Do you know if Avis have a car drop off at port Everglade, if so how easy is it and is there a shuttle needed. We have 3 children with us, just looking at best options we are not familiar as we are from the UK. Thank you

  9. So disappointed that BOGOF $ Been removed, I have booked a princess cruise, it was choice between NCL and princess we have done both, I told my daughter and family travelling with us how good princess where, they have never cruised Princess, and how they had things like this offer........now just before our cruise it's removed along with other things. I just met a friend who has donea 3 week cruise with Princess recently to the Far East she told me yesterday they will never cruise with Princess again, as so many things removed, including toiletries from cabins, and they are Elite.
