Played 27 holes of golf today. Ok it was mini golf. But 18 was at a fabulous course modeled after famous golf holes around the world. Now it’s delightful in Vibe

We also have a view of the inflatables which might make for good entertainment later!!

The 9 am NCL Ferry to St George seems popular. It is so close and nice to have that option included as I remember buying ferry tickets previous years.

Here’s day one and day two

Today was a real sea day. Vibe was even more crowded today. Could not fit into the hot tubs as they were so packed with people not leaving. We ventured to Spice and that was packed as well. We had Food Republic tonight and used one credit only which was plenty for us. Waiting for adult comedy later tonight.

We had a nice “sea day” in Norfolk. Lots of people stayed on board. Vibe was crowded and shade was at a premium. We couldn’t stay too long. Finally tried Teppanyaki and really liked it. Also learned my favorite beer is available on premium plus.

I’m not sure but the man in front said they only sell 60 passes. I’ll ask though to verify. The Chocolate Cowboy is bartending there.

I’m back on the Joy!! Had a blast on her in February and missed our Escape cruise in. April. Got a deal from Bally’s for an inside and used the FCC to upgrade and here I am. I’m not in the Haven this time but trying that Haven lite life. I’m with my 19 year old so we nabbed vibe passes and I upgraded the beverages since I only had to pay for myself! I posted a detailed embarkation day on my blog at Alpacamybagsblog dot com. There were some glitchy things at port. Seemed lots of confusion about priority embarkation for platinum and higher and casinos at sea. Dinner was lovely at Le Bistro. I finally found a great dessert on the new menu!! Waiting for trivia right now but not going into Norfolk today so I’ll check in later!

I understand your concern and disappointment. Wow. 9k. Personally I’d sail on a premium or luxury for that price. I know POA is a unique experience for Hawaii though but it has some quirks Bc of American rules. It’s a great way to see so much in a shorter time as other lines need more time. I hope the experience is great and the food will just be a minor negative.

The majority of my cruises have been on NCL but I just tried Carnival in April because our Escape cruise was cancelled. We were on their newest ship, Mardi Gras. Our group thought the main dining was better on CCL but NCL is way better for specialty. (Not counting Chef Table) Entertainment we preferred NCL. Better service on NCL. Cleanliness goes to NCL as well as this ship was the dirtiest I’ve ever been on. It might have been due to the staff shortage plus the passengers who thought ok to place trash on stairs, elevators floors, etc.

We will be on the MSC Grandiosa leaving from Barcelona.
