  1. The current cruise, following KPookey's, is a nine night. It's nominally two days in Bermuda, but we arrive at 1 P.M. on Day 3 and leave at 1 P.M. on Day 4.
  2. They are happy to accept your bid, and would only upgrade you to a cabin that holds three. The cost is exactly the same regardless of how many people are in the cabin. One person = 2 times the bid Two people = 2 times the bid Three people = 2 times the bid Four people = 2 times the bid. They COULD just say "your bid is your price", but noooooooo. Some marketing psychologist told them to do it this way.
  3. When there isn't an activity, the Some Enchanted Evening lounge on Deck 6, aft, is quiet and calm.
  4. It is true that 3 laundromats for passenger use are being installed on the Serenade for the UWC. Whether (if ready) they would be available to any passengers on cruises that begin before December 10, 2023, is unknown. Also unknown is what will happen after September 10, 2024.
  5. Nice ad hominem attack, @Pandamonia . That makes as much sense as my asking you, "Are you an endangered species of mammal?" See how ridiculous it is?
  6. Actually, that's not true. The opposite is true. Cruise fare covers the basic costs, it is pre-cruise and onboard spending that create profits for the company. This has been documented on any number of interesting shows on the cruise industry.
  7. Champagne is wine. And much of what RC has isn't champagne anyway.............it's SPARKLING WINE! 🤣
  8. @pasodancer - Great and thorough review. Thank you for taking the time and energy to share it with us. Two tiny edits: The juggler's name is Adam Kario. (in case anyone wants to google him or look for him on youtube) The swan boats in the ice show have been there since the beginning - they were suspended during covid and the restart, and have just been brought back in May. 🙂
  9. Correct. Just the standard two american and one european outlet on the desk/vanity.
  10. My memory about things like this is usually pretty bad, but I do seem to recall that he left RC a long time ago.
  11. The Enchantment only has one specialty restaurant: Chops. That is where suites and Pinnacles can eat breakfast. There is no separate venue for lunch. Eat with the masses. Yes, it includes any sort of room service. Talk to the concierge.
  12. 1. There is still a printed Cruise Compass. 2. I have now read the rest of the stuff on the CC that you posted. This is absolutely VERY VERY OLD. 3. It's not from "April 30". There is an item about buying a mug of cider on CHRISTMAS MORNING.
  13. Give them a call - you can't do this online. Normally, in your situation, they would let two of you buy the DBP and require that the 3rd buy the refreshment package. If you do not want him/her to have that, I suspect that in your specific situation, they would waive that requirement. 🙂
  14. Yes, you must pull out the bed to access it. Grab the cord coming out of the phone, and follow it to the outlet. The other side is available for your plug. 🙂
  15. Well then, THAT'S an easy choice, isn't it? 😉
  16. That's a huge price difference when they only cost $200. What are they charging on your sailing????
  17. IMO, no difference, but others have their preferences.
  18. I find this reaction fascinating. "Only found one night without an acceptable and tasty choice." And that's ok? That you are on a cruise, paying for all of the nights of your cruise, and one night the menu had NOTHING you wanted to eat? Certainly IMO, this should not happen.
  19. And you actually experienced that there was just as much variety as before? Certainly not the case on Oasis. Many fewer stations, much more repetition. Very noticeably fewer choices. Just not the same.
  20. Yes, plus 18% gratuity on that difference. 🙂
  21. Yes, this is correct. I experienced more complete information about the process the day after I posted above. The people in this waiting area also take care of getting someone to push your wheelchair onto the ship.
