I'm not saying that Independence was NOT fully staffed, and I'm not saying that your officers were lying, but I have not been on Independence in a long time, certainly not since covid. But the ships that I HAVE been on were clearly lacking staff to do the extra cleaning that messy passengers cause. And having staff to do all of the work that needs to be done is the cost of doing business. If you think that you are 'saving money' by having RC understaff their ships, well...........................

@Psychobueller I million times second the suggestion to take the gang to Portside BBQ. You can stuff yourselves for so little $$$. ALL delicious. @vacationlover_mn - they were not there last month.

I will also add: I am observing more messes going unaddressed, because RC has cut the staffing. It's not just a function of holiday sailings. There are fewer people than we were accustomed to in the past, and they can only do what they can do. More staff are needed.

Another way to look at it: You can walk to either elevator bank with equal ease. 🙂

It was offered to us in Seattle, but of four people, only two were able to use it. Two of us were stuck with our own bags at the last minute.

It's 2/3 data collection/analytics, 1/3 for actual upgrades.

Just to confuse things, I just sailed on the Vision, and there is a new menu at Giovanni's table, and it's not a good thing. I can assure you that there were no garlic knots or chicken parmigiana.

I am not doubting your experience at all, but when you compare to Regent or Cunard, well, that's just flat out ridiculous. If that's what you are accustomed to, Vision never had a chance to make you happy.

It's great way to spend some time on the ship with your little one(s). There are lots of things that you can do at home/on land, and cheaper, but that's not the point. 🙂 I was wrong. They made 3 each.

Do you only want the five night Cruise Compasses? I have the 9 night ones.
