Thank you for the information. That’s truly unfortunate. We booked a 2024 cruise under the $25 pp deposit promotion. We are not sure we are going to go on the trip. We were able to get the final payment pushed to 6 months before sailing since we had another cruise fully paid. If we don’t go, we are only out $50.

I am also taking the Rhine cruise in October. I did the same cruise 3 years ago, so I would like to skip the morning bus ride to the Black Forest. Any suggestions for getting transport from Breisach to Colmar and back?

I have a cruise scheduled for next month that included free airfare. I decided to book my own upgrade airfare with a large airline credit I needed to use. Viking did not give me any credit for not using their “free” airfare.

I agree. After booking a Viking cruise, mailers and emails stop. I get the business reasons for targeting people who are not booked, but it would be nice to get the same offers as others. Thanks to this group, I can still find deals!

Definitely ask for the delayed final payment. We took advantage of the $25 deposit deal and booked a 2024 ocean cruise. We have a paid in full cruise scheduled for this October. I asked to delay final payment, and they gave me October 1, 2023, which is 6 months before sailing.

I agree, @Sunflower & The Scientist I’ve never understood why the topic of dress code and attire can be so divisive. Simple question, simple answer. No need to be unkind, snarky, etc.
