Wow! All those just took me back. We lived a few miles from Disneyland. We’d climb on the roof a few times in summer to watch fireworks. Dad had special tickets from his work and it was next to nothing to get in as you paid per ride. We just cruised around and used up all those A tickets
I am old enough to remember having to use tickets at Disneyland. The "E" Tickets were for the premium rides, weren't they?

Normally, the O'Sheehans (or comparable pub) is 24 hours.

Have truly appreciated the chance to read your reviews.
This cruise seemed to be a good mix of solo and social for you, and the chance for many Tribe members to meet and get to know each other. It was great to see everyone getting together.
I'm hoping you will continue to post on the Tribe thread, or at least give occasional updates.

Ok, so I'm 17 pages late, but got here before the cruise started. Have a great time Sid!

This one was filmed in my neck of the woods. Bar scene has lots of local extras.

I've only made them once. Was a sourdough discard recipe. But soon after, I discovered canning, and my poor starter has been neglected in the fridge for probably over a year. They look fantastic!

Tonight around 11:00 pm, my dad passed away, apparently peacefully in his sleep, although we will never really know. They found him in bed during evening rounds. And yes, I keep feeling shocked. It goes away. Then it comes back anew. Thank you all for your ongoing support and words of kindness. Rest in peace, Colonel.
Hugs @Greenpea2. 😔

Everyone has their druthers. 😄
I had never heard that word before I met my husband. My MIL used it often. Thanks for bringing back memories! 😁

Well, about a month ago a lady in Missouri called out of the blue and had some questions about a rug she'd bought at an Amish thrift store for $30...
Now I'm curious as to what "questions" she had. Maybe just, "was this rug really sold for $50K?"

Btw I will be curious to see if they do any hot alcoholic beverages on an Alaskan itinerary, particularly the day at the glacier.
It was several years ago, and on NCL Pearl, but there were several hot alcoholic drinks (not just spiked coffees) offered on Glacier Bay day. We had a balcony cabin, and they even sent around a special menu to order drinks to your room during glacier viewing.

If you want to upgrade to the free at Sea plus, it covers basically any drink on the ship, no matter the cost, and unlimited in quantity.
Like Sid said, any drink on the ship, If I'm not mistaken, the FAS+ includes specialty coffees (Starbucks) and water (boxes) also.

What color was it?
Um, the meat itself was a whitish fish, I guess? It had other stuff on each portion, maybe lemon(?) In the serving tray.

I know this is a long shot, but it was so good I have to give it a try.
Cruised the Bliss, Mexican Riviera, 3/19/23 - 3/26/23. On the final night, at the carving station in the buffet, they were serving roasted suckling pig (it was amazing!) But, directly beside the pig, there was "Grilled __(some type of fish)__". It was FABULOUS! It was a type of fish I had never tried, or even heard of. It seems that it started with a C, but I can't be sure of that.
Does anyone know what type of fish it was?

then it's 3, total, as someone else said here.
I would clarify, 3 total - each.
1 each with the FAS, and 2 each with the upgrade.

Haven't been on a cruise since right before the shutdown, and have only been on 2 cruises total. We found it helpful previously, to have our sail cards punched, and hook on a lanyard. Have read that that is no longer possible, with a new type of card. So, I am wondering now, if the cards are in a clear pouch type thing on a lanyard, will the card have to be removed each time to be "swiped", or can it be read through the clear plastic?
Thanks! Enjoying following along.

This reminded me of an Amazon review I read many years ago, that was very entertaining. Many of you may have already seen it, but it's worth a read if you have not.
Just a note, I believe it has been stated later that although the review was written about Haribo sugar free gummy bears, Haribo states that they do not, and have never, sold any sugar free candy. So the reviewer was probably mistaken on the brand.
