Book a post cruise excursion with NCL. They manage your luggage and get you to the airport.
Not sure I want an Everglades tour. Do they have other options? Thanks for your reply

Get drunk at the airport.
Or you could go with the suggestion above in post #2. Which may be better, depending on the demographic of your group.
I think by that point my liver will be shot and I need to start detoxing!

What can we do between getting off the ship in the morning in Miami and a 530 flight home. Also taking into account we (six of us ) will have luggage with us.

We had a person on our repo cruise let a ballon lantern go off the aft of the ship. The down draft brought it directly down to the balcony next door to us. We woke to someone banging on our door. The guy who launched the ballon was trying to find out which balcony it landed on. Needless to say our neighbors were quite upset. They wanted the person kicked off the ship. The funny thing is my husband thought he saw a bright light go by our balcony. It was actually burning up on the balcony floor next door

If I buy it from the OP it's worth 250$ off my new booking? But I pay OP 100$ American?

We have always cruised NCL. until last Dec when we cruise RCL on the Oasis of the seas. We have been on the Epic and the Oasis so I can give you my comparison of the two. I enjoyed the Epics aft sun deck and hot tubs. The Epic balcony cabins are probably the worst set up I have seen. The bathrooms are very strange and not really separate from the cabin. The Oasis ship has that WOW effect when you get on. It's so big and different. The Oasis has 4 pools I believe. We always stayed at the beach themed pool. Oasis balcony cabins are average.
Now I don't know if it is because we are so familiar with NCL but I didn't feel at home and I truly missed the NCL crew when I was on the Oasis. Oasis crew was
Great but I feel NCL crew is almost alway exceptional.

Great video. I love that you took the video in the am before too many people were up. Thanks for sharing it.

We loved the POA but we felt that a large portion of the crew took less care in their appearance. I agree that a day at sea is better than a day a work! We found that the POA was more of a mode of transportation than your typical cruise. After returning from your day trips on the island there is little time or energy to do much but eat and then sleep to get ready for the next day.
Don't miss sitting on the aft deck area. Comfortable seats,a bar ,sun and shade if you want it. It was my favorite place to bring my meal from the Buffet or have a drink.

Chips Ahoy! He's now located on the Empress!
Are you pulling my leg? I know it's in dry dock getting upgrades but I can't picture him on RCL never mind a short cruise.

Does anyone know what ship bartender Chips Ahoy is on this year? I know he was on the Dawn then the Breakaway but wondering if he is still on the Breakaway.

For the OP, H6 room sizes are the same. All A configurations are the same size, all B configurations are the same size
Deck 9 has the deepest balcony followed by deck 12.
Thank you for your answer. I was curious because the deck plans make it look like the cabins are smaller on haven aft cabins with the larger balconies.
-
Cabins are all the same size. Unlike the Breakaway and Getaway deck 9 does not have the largest balcony on the Escape.
I have read a lot of posts that deck 9 on the escape was the largest balcony.

I believe either side was fine. They go by the Napali coast twice so each side has full view. We were up behind the the buffet at the back of the ship for the Napali coast. It was fantastic! Beautiful lounging area there with great service.

I had three cabins booked prior to the recent OBC promo. It was not worth it to change our 2 interior cabins as the price had gone up. Our aft balcony price had not changed so I did the math. I was losing a dinner from 4 down to three. 40$ value loss there. But we would be paying higher fees on the tips as those have gone up equaling 11$. So now 51$ loss in value. We are both platinum so we each get a dinner for two so we would now have 5 meals each. So plenty of dining. So now I add the 100$ OBC - the 51$ loss= a 49 $ gain we could use for the kids specialty dinners if we choose.
A lot of thinking to make sure it is actually a gain!
I'm hoping we both still get the diner for two!

I know the balcony sizes on the aft of the Escape are different sizes. My question is if the haven balcony is bigger is the cabin smaller? So does deck 9 having the biggest balcony have the smallest cabin?

This is what we have for shore excursions in Tortola

I wonder if we would be allowed to go on the first trip to virgin Gorda and take the last ferry home or do you have to stay with a group.

The new pier in Tortola has been open since spring of 2015
Thanks

Does the Escape tender or go to the pier in Tortola?

Day # 3 - Sea Day # 2 - A great start to the day
Due to the time change I managed to wake up shortly after 6:00 am and decided to walk around the ship while waiting for the sunrise. I love walking around the ship early in the morning as it is a great time to take pictures.
Note the chair hogs out before dawn!

Make sure you get the one with the bed by the balcony. It's a larger balcony!!! The middle cabin has bed by closets therefore the indentations make balcony smaller!! Trust me I know as we had the whole back. My daughter had the smaller balcony!! It's the same depth just not as wide!!
Thanks for the info!
What to do.
