I don't think any NCL ship has cooked to order breakfast items on the room service menu. I don't recall what the opening times were, but we never had any problem getting breakfast at the buffet in time to exit the ship early.

 

Here's a tip: find the Aloha Lanai area on the ship. Just turn right in the buffet and keep going until you hit the lovely covered open air aft area. You will pass the entry to Moderno on your right before going through the outer door. This is a fantastic place for breakfast as they set up a mini buffet in Moderno, complete with made to order stations. You can dine inside Moderno, or take your food out onto the open air patio which has many tables. Great place for coctails and sailaways also, as there are big curved couches, soft lighting and entertainment in the evenings. You can carry out a meal from the buffet in the evenings as well.

I completely agree! This was our favorite spot on the ship. The officer in charge in Moderno was so nice. He always made a point to come and see us. He took some great pictures of us while passing the Napali Coast. Best spot on the ship for the Napali Coast in my opinion, you get to see it easily on each pass. Enjoy this once in a lifetime experience!

Booked 12240 and 12246 on oasis. These are new cabins that took over for the suite that was originally 12240. Does anyone know if the balcony in these cabins is bigger seeing that it was originally a suite location? It's on the hump but its considered a D5.

Looks like a lot of cabins left. Do they try to move everyone up or do they just leave the haven empty? Haven is a lot of money for a two day!

No fireworks on the 2 day.

I was wondering if anyone has noticed that the new cabins on deck 12 on the hump where the suites were are labeled D5 but have the larger balcony like D1's do.

Will these areas remain after the dry dock?

We usually don't do the late night party's. As much as I hate to admit it I am at the age that I NEED to get my rest if I'm going to go all day. Never thought i would feel that at 49 y.o. i would be saying need my sleep. Even if going all day includes lounging and drinking by the pool. :) We will be on the POA on the 11 of Oct. which is a very port intensive cruise. I hope my body can keep up!

I have never cruised RCI as I have only cruised NCL. On NCL you are allowed to bring on bottled water,soda and juices. What if anything is legal to bring on board?

I have a question I hope I can get answered here. I have never cruised Royal and not sure about their prices. I would like to book for next dec 2015. They have the 50%off second person right now which looks good. Do they have OBC sales? Would I better off waiting?

I would think that it might be a wast of money. I am also going on the POA. Most CC posters say they have little time to enjoy the specialty restaurants because the are on the islands so late and are very tired when the do get back on board.

It's in my vacation summary. Listed right underneath the itinerary. We're sailing Oct 26, so we just made final payment. The amenities just appeared within the last few days.

I booked thru Expedia and I don't see any of my credits. Is it different if you book thru an agency?

Just off the breeze this morning. Went to turtle river falls & gardens (enchanted gardens). It was beautiful. To get there make sure to walk out of the port area.. Shuttles will not take you there. Wasted time trying to get them too.. Most told us we didn't want to go there or never heard of it. Bs! Get a taxi.. Or van. Great guy charged us $10 round trip. We called him early to come pick us up & came within 5 min. Pay when you get back to the port. $20 entry fee into the gardens.. Peaceful.. No crowds..

Did you feel safe before during and after visit?

We are looking for a nice snorkel in St Maarten. Both of these tours sound nice, although their boats are entirely different. Anyone ever been on one of these tours? I would love your feedback. Thanks.
