The same story with our daughters' Lola! She was in two homes before Judy and the boys got her; my daughter had to meet the woman at a Rest Stop on the Parkway early in the morning. The woman was driving a big van with crates full of the animals she was transporting to their new homes. Lola is the sweetest little girl! She is so affectionate and an all-around very good dog. We all love her so much!!

Yeah..we wound up leaving the window closed. While going through the Panama Canal, we would open it to look down while going through the Canal, room would be dripping, mirrors all fogged up, then we'd close the window until it cleared up again. The room itself is really lovely, though, and the extended length is pretty nice. Have a wonderful time on your cruise!!!! Bon Voyage!🛳️

@SubmarineMark Wow Mark, I am so sorry to hear that your wife was injured and had a sepsis gallbladder. I guess it was a blessing in disguise that this happened when it did. Thank goodness you had travel insurance and began your claim. DH and I were on a New England/Canada cruise almost two years ago, when DH wound up in the ship Infirmary in quite a bit of pain. We had to disembark the ship in Halifax, Canada, where he had emergency gallbladder surgery the following morning. We don't leave home without travel insurance, and everything was covered; hospital, doctors, etc. I had to list every bill, etc., doctor's notes, everything. This is not the first time that we've had to put in a claim using our travel insurance...I wound up sick a week before flying to England for a TA, and again, everything was covered. Sometimes people don't realize how important travel insurance is. I am glad that your wife is back to normal now!

@SubmarineMark Hi Mark! I just finished reading this thread, and was wondering how your trip to London worked out for you! Where did you wind up staying in London? How did you travel from Heathrow to your hotel? I hope you had a wonderful time in London, and on your cruise, as well! I'm planning on visiting London this September and am in the process of looking at hotels, transportation, etc.
