  1. The same story with our daughters' Lola! She was in two homes before Judy and the boys got her; my daughter had to meet the woman at a Rest Stop on the Parkway early in the morning. The woman was driving a big van with crates full of the animals she was transporting to their new homes. Lola is the sweetest little girl! She is so affectionate and an all-around very good dog. We all love her so much!!
  2. I'm almost sure that I booked a time and date for the Solarium online for my Oasis cruise two years ago🤔🤔 Perhaps you can try again?🤔🤔 Good luck, Bonnie!😉
  3. As much as I loved the Beyond in general, I feel that it was a one and done for me with regard to the Infinite Veranda.
  4. Yeah..we wound up leaving the window closed. While going through the Panama Canal, we would open it to look down while going through the Canal, room would be dripping, mirrors all fogged up, then we'd close the window until it cleared up again. The room itself is really lovely, though, and the extended length is pretty nice. Have a wonderful time on your cruise!!!! Bon Voyage!🛳️
  5. @SubmarineMark Wow Mark, I am so sorry to hear that your wife was injured and had a sepsis gallbladder. I guess it was a blessing in disguise that this happened when it did. Thank goodness you had travel insurance and began your claim. DH and I were on a New England/Canada cruise almost two years ago, when DH wound up in the ship Infirmary in quite a bit of pain. We had to disembark the ship in Halifax, Canada, where he had emergency gallbladder surgery the following morning. We don't leave home without travel insurance, and everything was covered; hospital, doctors, etc. I had to list every bill, etc., doctor's notes, everything. This is not the first time that we've had to put in a claim using our travel insurance...I wound up sick a week before flying to England for a TA, and again, everything was covered. Sometimes people don't realize how important travel insurance is. I am glad that your wife is back to normal now!
  6. @SubmarineMark Hi Mark! I just finished reading this thread, and was wondering how your trip to London worked out for you! Where did you wind up staying in London? How did you travel from Heathrow to your hotel? I hope you had a wonderful time in London, and on your cruise, as well! I'm planning on visiting London this September and am in the process of looking at hotels, transportation, etc.
  7. @Ozark_Kid Love all the pictures of your precious grandchildren! I love that Kenzie is still looking out for Finnley. It's good to hear that you and Sharon have made your decision to sail on the Utopia, John! 🛳️
  8. @TravelGirlinDallas Have a wonderful time on your cruise on the Beyond! Beautiful ship! Bon Voyage!!🛳️
  9. I'm finally caught up with the pages that multiplied since Tuesday! @Coralc Patti, I am sorry that your tripping has caused not only a delay in your move, but that you are in so much pain from fracturing your pelvis. (((hugs))) I do hope that you heal quickly.🌹
  10. @Cotswold Eagle How far from London is the Mapperton Estate?
  11. @CSHS1979, Laura, @sgmn, Sue and Gary, and @island lady Patricia, enjoy your cruise! Welcome back to the ship, Laura and Patricia!🛳️
