  1. Thank you, ladies! Jim and I fly to Arizona next Saturday, on the 16th. Looking forward to seeing my sister and her family...3 nieces, 2 nephews, everyone's spouse's and my sisters grandchildren who aren't away at College.
  2. Cardinals come and visit in our back yard. I wonder who is coming to see me when they come? We also have Dragonflies visit when I feed my Koi. I've heard that Dragonflies have the extra wings to carry angels on their back... Well hello, Ms. Reeba. Welcome to the family!
  3. Happy dance, Debbie, since your vacation started this evening.🥰 Safe travels on Sunday, and have a wonderful time on your cruise! 🚢 It sure is! It'll be here before you know it! We fly out to Arizona on the 16th to visit my older sister and brother-in-law. We haven't been there in years, and she wants us to meet her 4 great-grandchildren, who I only know from FB.
  4. Sorry that Micheline's sister and family are not able to make it due to airline problems. Go and have a wonderful, memorable time at your daughter's Wedding today, Bob! After walking your daughter down the Aisle, the next best performance for the day will be you and your little girl doing your Father/Daughter dance. God Bless! CONGRATULATIONS BOB & MICHELINE!🥂
  5. It sounds like you've done the right thing! Good attitude about the size of your rental. You'll be spending so much more time with your grandchildren. I used to cry when we'd leave Massachusetts when our oldest grandchild was a baby. She's now 21 and working as an ER Nurse! The youngest of our grandchildren is 12. We all ask "where did the time go?". Enjoy your grandchildren to the fullest!! I hope you're not hurting too much.😔 Two cruises booked! Good for you!!! (((Hugs)))
  6. @lenquixote66 Wishing Toby a very Happy and Healthy Birthday tomorrow, Lenny! Enjoy interacting with your granddaughter this evening while celebrating with Toby.🎉
  7. It's getting real, Greg!!!! I'm sure your excitement is mounting!!🚢 Positive thoughts for you!!🙏 There are different types of ear wax???🤔🫢 That would be great if you could find an audio-recording along with suggested questions!
  8. Behind the bar sure looks like when I worked at the "She" disco, but I just now googled Marlin Beach Hotel, and it said that it was torn down. I guess I'm going to have to make a trip to Lauderdale to look around. The last time we stopped along the beach there was around 20 years ago, the apartments where I lived with my roommates one block up from A1A, and a block or two from E. Las Olas Blvd. was gone. The laid-back Ft. Lauderdale I lived in was no longer.
  9. @A&L_Ont +1 Well done, Owen!!!!! I hope your cousin is doing well, and is now cancer free. I wish you and DH a wonderful cruise on the Celebrity Edge, Dani. Bon Voyage!🚢
  10. What a wonderful time down Memory Lane, Lenny! I'm so happy for you and your friend! I miss Below Deck. I don't have Brave, now I don't have Peacock. Is it on hulu, or any other streaming network? Congratulations Bob and Micheline on your daughters' big Wedding Day!! Not to worry about your dance. It will be Magical. Enjoy!!!🎉🥂🥂🎉
  11. I am so sorry to hear that your great-aunt has passed, Debbie. While she won't be telling you stories, as you said, there will be plenty of stories about this great lady. I didn't realize that some DNA services mention familial longevity. Several of my relatives on both side of my family have lived to be in their 90's. My mom was 92 when she passed, but unfortunately, she suffered 2 strokes, the first at the age of 82. She also had Macular Degeneration.😔 My Dad died at the age of 61, due to a work accident. At least two of his brothers lived to their 90's. I have been working on my Storyworth stories for our daughters. It took me awhile before I got started, but I'm finally putting pen to paper with my stories. Good idea, especially since many of the suggested questions will be about his growing up. Where is this located, Greg? The Marlin Beach Hotel had Mermaids behind the bar, way before it became the "She" discotheque where I worked in the late '60's. I don't even know if the Marlin Beach Hotel still exists. It was across from the beach, on A1A, about a block from E. Las Olas Blvd.
