Welcome to Cruise Critic!
I'm booked on the same cruise. Currently investigating flights and such.
I've done a similar itinerary a few years ago and loved it.
Feel free to check in to the Roll Call (I haven't done that yet), here is the direct link.

Lots of cruise questions already asked and answered on this forum. Be sure to use the "search" function prior to asking questions if you can.
Oh, and LEAFS Suck :p
so do the Sens!:D:p

according to previous posts, there should be a table upon check-in where you will pay the $15.00 per bottle charge.

As I have mentioned on another similar thread, I just don't see the value. Our upcoming 17 night cruise would run us $1915.90. Too much alcohol, too many calories, drunk? hungover?, etc. Just not for us. We plan to bring on 6 bottles of wine and pay the surcharge for 4 of these. We will likely have one or two cocktails most nights and purchase the coffee cards. We will enjoy ourselves and not come near the sticker shock of the cost of this pkg. at the end of our cruise. As I've said, to each his own.
agreed! If we got the package for our 19 day cruise, it would be a bit over $2000.00:eek: we also plan on bringing our wine and paying the surcharge, we will also bring on water and purchase the coffee cards, we do not drink soda or other liquor really, so this should be fine for us.
You are right though, to each his own.

It seems that this offer does NOT apply to Transatlantic Cruises leaving this spring?
This does not seemed to have been asked and I cant find it in the original 123 offer. Anyone else on a Atlantic Crossing had any luck with this offer?
weird, I checked this morning and the transatlantics are no longer there!
They were there yesterday and my TA quoted a price for us, including the drink package and the prepaid gratuities ( don't know if the gratuities are from her or Celebrity, however..) as well as $200.00 of Celebrity's price. good deal.

thanks Cruisetrail for the info on 1630! it is very appreciated.

wow what a great thread, we are going on Celebrity for the 1st time this year, really want to book AQ...guess the overhang is part of the deal. we were thinking of 1630, any thoughts?

when we were on the Ruby, a waiter was serving drinks so I guess it was OK to be there:D
don't remember what sign was on the door, if any.

great review! wow! we are going on the Silhouette next year ( first Celebrity cruise) and booked an Aqua cabin, looking forward to it even more now.

it's their loss Mrs Sloop, our 2nd cruise last fall (TA on Ruby Princess) was wonderful in part due to the great people we met on our Roll Call...and because of all the great advice we got here on CC.:)

great pictures! thanks for bringing back such great memories....Venice is truly magical, just wandering the streets, stopping for gelatto, window shopping, sigh....must go back!

....when I excitedly asked a co-worker about the ship she was on for her Mediterranean cruise , she kinda looked at me funny and said oh I really didn't notice the ship, I went for the ports, the ship doesn't matter to me. I nearly choked on my food:eek:

love good champagne, but I don't care, I am going on my first Celebrity cruise next year, and can't wait to sip the sparkling wine, it will mean my cruise has begun!

Hi,
We are thinking of booking the Explorer for January 2012, I have a courtesy hold for cabin 7622, this would be our first RCCL cruise and hesitating between this room and a Superior balcony room more to the back.
your input would be appreciated!
