This is a rare green Christmas for us and Covid canceled my sisters Christmas Eve gathering but the kids and the little Grands will come today for Christmas dinner. It will be crazy but fun! I was also twenty!! Hubby was 23 but raised on a farm in a family of 10 kids so was quite mature and self-sufficient, thank goodness for us, lol

I sure wish some of our rain could go out west. When we went to bed last night my son in Kelowna said they were fine , but keeping an eye on the fire in West Kelowna. All changed this a.m. as @bennybear stated , the fire jumped the lake. My son and his wife are evacuating with the cats. I’m waiting for updates, all these fires are so devastating🙁

We are doing the 8 day Sky Norwegian Fjords next May so looking forward to this review, it’s great so far!🙂

@Seasick Sailor now that Oliver is in good hands, I am sure he will thrive! We took in our Penny on Christmas Eve, she had been tied to a tree in 90deg heat, luckily a Good Samaritan brought her to a rescue where she stayed for 6 months, we agreed to foster her, of course we adopted her within days.😄 She was way underweight but with time and care, she is now thriving!! Rescues are the best!!!

Good Afternoon! Sending my best to all! My thoughts to those going through difficult times. For us Pandemonium day was yesterday. Now we are used to snowstorms, ice storms and thunderstorms, but tornado warnings? Nope. Hubby said come see! Oh heck no, I was sitting on the basement stairs with the dog, lol. Power just turned on and everyone is safe, cleanup underway in Montreal. Wishing everyone a great weekend!

I was in downtown Montreal yesterday and it wasn’t so great, but where we live , west of Montreal it was fine, I guess the city pollution made it worse. Also Ottawa was worse than us. This could all change, of course.

Ivan seems so sweet, congrats! we swore off getting another dog after our senior dogs passed in 2021. Good Evening ! Cool and windy here. Can’t wait for warmer temps. We are resting up today because tomorrow we are babysitting our 2 Baby Grands, they were born 10 days apart and are 16 months old. They are so adorable. Our 4 year old GS is going to the cinema for the first time with his parents and uncle. Because of them,every day is Earth Day❤️ Wishing everyone the best! Jo

Good afternoon everyone! Bon Voyage to the Rotterdam and all those who are cruising🙂 I did something pretty foolish today, I put the Easter chocolate in the guest room and got distracted with other things, sure enough my little dog Penny got into it. Luckily I stopped her from eating a dangerous amount, called the vet and we calculated that the dose did not warrant a visit but to keep an eye on her. I’m usually so careful too. Sending positive thoughts to all🙂 Jo
