  1. <duplicate - found it already replied to>
  2. That cost is $60 + 9% PCL Insurance premium.
  3. You are SO right. Thanks much for the info and I am sure appreciated by many other members of the Princess Forum.
  4. It's a screwed up promo intended for Australia.
  5. @Host CJSKIDS, do you want to lock this one as well since it seems a non-starter?
  6. There was an eerily similar report about something like this not too long ago.
  7. Other than it costs more!!
  8. If you are flying PE class with Air Canada, you should be able to do seat selection during the EZ-Air booking process. This has always been the case, unless recent change sometime in 2023. Your note is a bit confusing, because a guest would never be calling the airline to book a fare. Yes, possibly need to use airline website to do seat selection. Note that AC does not allow seat selection in Economy class until flight is ticketed by EZ-Air/Princess. You can request early ticketing once you have paid for the flight. If you do that, you are then subject to airline rules for your class of ticket and no more flexibility via EZ-Air. I never had a problem with not being able to ticket at my booked price. Of course, prices can change up or down after booking and you can re-book for a lower fare. Airlines can have schedule and equipment changes all the time. AC is notorious for late changes. You should keep on top of both the EZ-Air booking and your booking record on the airline website. Be prepared to make adjustments if they change your flight. Princess and EZ-Air have no sway over flight changes made by airlines.
  9. A Campaign Code <> A Fare Promo Code. When booking a cruise fare, the associated Fare Code is a 3-character alphanumeric. The applicable codes would have been posted in the flyer somewhere.
  10. Exactly what I would guess from seeing a film a couple of times. After a couple of throws and catches, I could imagine some bruising of the flesh.
  11. It is available as soon as the booking appears in the App with a deposit paid - IF your Captain's Circle Member level is Platinum or Elite. If you are booked in Reserve Class and not yet Platinum, should also be able to book SD. Otherwise, you wait until you have made Final Payment (you can elect to pay early). The above is the official policy. However, some folks without the necessary member level have reported being able to make reservations. Also, DMW may be acting up on you and prevent a booking at times. Try the Web version of the App. You can also call Princess and use the phone tree option to get help with DMW.
  12. To tag a CC Member, do this: Type "@" symbol. Immediately after, begin typing the CC Member handle name, like this: @jw. You will see a pop-up list of matching Member names. Keep typing letters until you see the one you want (could be less than their full handle). Important step: Click on the name you want and it will appear like this: @jwattle. Once you have the dark blue highlighting, you know you have tagged the member. They receive an email notice. Of course, she is watching this thread, so the above is more important on an older thread or at some time when not going back and forth.
  13. I just figured out why this has happened. And it may explain another mailing issue that came up recently. Some members of the OCEAN IT team have transferred to marketing and are now creating sales brochures. 😁
  14. That means the promo fare codes have to be Uxx for Standard, Plus. Premier.
  15. I keep hoping when we get to a riper old age, insurance companies will have evidence that we are aging more gracefully and living longer and won't be such huge risks.
  16. What difference does it make? Airline upgrades are handled by airline policy and often FF status.
  17. Yes, we posters have been expecting that a guest on Plus could not share a prix fixe option with a table companion. But we do not have much insight into how they are enforcing it. I get the concept of them checking Medallions in order to know what the guest is entitled to. I do agree that they are not going to let a guest have a $12 pizza as part of the $15 prix fixe meal. However, I can see some flexibility extended perhaps if the guest was skipping other course(s) in the prix fixe deal. I think they were fair to your request. However, a Plus guest with a Casual Dining credit ought to be able to go into Alfredo's and order an a la carte pizza for $8.50 and not be forced to use one of their $15 prix fixe credits. Perhaps all they want is a lighter snack and have plans to return for a full lunch on another day (like a sea day). IOW, I should not have to burn up my two CD credits at $15 each before I am allowed to order an a la carte pizza. I don't see that bucking any policy or rule. If I never claim my prix fix meals, that's on me (but one may as well take the claim for a couple of free pizzas even if not interested in an App or a Dessert).
  18. Definitions section of policy: Pre-Existing Condition means an illness, disease, or other condition during the sixty (60) day period immediately prior to the Effective Date of Your Certificate for which You, Your Traveling Companion, or a Family Member booked to travel with You: 1) exhibited symptoms that would have caused a typical person to seek care or treatment; or 2) received or received a recommendation for a test, examination, or medical treatment; or 3) took or received a prescription for drugs or medicine. Item (3) of this definition does not apply to a condition that is treated or controlled solely through the taking of prescription drugs or medicine and remains treated or controlled without any adjustment or change in the required prescription throughout the sixty (60) day period before the Effective Date of Your Certificate. And then this: LIMITATIONS AND EXCLUSIONS The following exclusions apply to: Trip Interruption, Trip Delay, Accident and Sickness Medical Expense: Loss caused by or resulting from: 1.Pre-Existing Conditions, as defined in the Definitions section;
  19. One of the things I missed in yesterday post, was the general malaise and down market. Not likely a stock like CCL is going to buck a general market trend even if news was "okay". In an up-market day, CCL may not have sustained such a big hit as Friday's slap-down was.
  20. Hopefully retired, or it's one heck of a commute to work!
  21. I check in on this thread periodically to see if anyone has posted about the sharing situation with any real-life experiences, but not much lately. Just reports about largely being empty. I guess not enough people are going there to hear about anything new/different.
  22. Years ago, I would buy the PCL insurance when we could get the premium, but stopped because hihgly unlikely we will CFAR and have better medical coverage elsewhere. Saved a lot in 8% premiums.
  23. This is situation normal since August 2. Green Lane was changed to be only for guests with Medallion in hand.
