Hi;
We are booked on LOS for next July, leaving from Barcelona and doing the Western Mediterranean itinerary.
We are looking for the daily compasses and also the teen compasses (14-17).
If you have them, can you post them here or you can e-mail them to me at stefanny28@hotmail.com
Thanks

Thanks.
I already called the TA and ask her to reserve the PR rooms.
I will make sure to close the drapes since we usually have the balconies, it will be easy to forget.... :-)

I agree with Clarea......go w/the PR staterooms. We always book them but on deck 6 (room 6309) above the retail shops and over looking the Café Promenade. You don't want the H2O zone above you.
Thanks reijo. I'll probably go with the PR rooms then.

No, I won't be studying for a test but we will like to be able to sleep after a long day of touring. I am sure that you will like to be able to have a quiet night too unless you are one of those who likes to party and keep other awake...
And since it is a port intensive cruise with tours starting at 8:00 AM and lasting until 5:00 PM, we will like to be able to be fully awake when we visit Rome, Florence and many other cities and not fall asleep when there are so many wonderful things to see.
Thanks clarea for your input.

Hi;
We need 2 connecting rooms fro our med cruise on Liberty of the Seas and the only 2 choices are:
a/ Cabins 1309-1311 on deck 10 under the H2O Zone
b/ PR cabins deck 7 (7611-7613-7615-7617)
Which cabins will be quieter?
Thanks

Thanks, I think we'll go to Morningstar since it is a little bit closer and we don't have much time anyway.
I'll try to post some pictures when we get back.
-
Thanks for the wonderful suggestions.
Now, I have to decide between Morningstar and Lindbergh Bay....
Which one has more natural shade?
Is there any chair rental on Lindbergh?

Hi;
We will probably shop at Yatch Haven Grande in the morning then go back to the ship for lunch.
Which beach is close to Havensight if we want to spend a few hours in the afternoon?
I heard that Morningstar is not too far. Is there any amenities (rental chair/umbrella)?
How much for a taxi ride from Havensight?
Any other close by beach?
Thanks

Just call them today, December 5th around 2:00 PM and the person who answered the phone said they do store luggage for $3 a piece.
Can someone verify this if you are going there before December 20th?
Thanks

Dear Travel R;
Thank you for a wonderful review and the extremely helpful tips.
We are also planning a Med cruise with our DD who will be 15 next year. So it really helps to read all the planning tips and advices.
I have a question concerning the Colosseum.
I don't really remember where I have read this, but apparently, kids under a certain age can visit the Colosseum for free. It is free for the EU kids and the Italian government made some changes lately to include all kids (age???).
Do you remember seeing this somewhere while you were in Rome or while you were doing your planning?
Did you have to buy tickts for your DDs?
Thanks

Has anyone done the Rome in Limo food tour?
If yes, do you mind sharing your experience?
Thanks

Can anyone give me their e-mail address?
Thanks

Thanks khm1;
Now just one more question: does the Hotwire total price includes the resort fee and taxes or should I calculate the resort fee and taxes on top of the Hotwire total price (which also has taxes)?
Many thanks

Dear khm1
It has been a while since I used Priceline but since they changed things, I rather not try my luck.
I followed you advice and went on Hotwire to see. I need 1 night pre-cruise on Dec 21st, 2013, checking out Dec 22nd.
We are 2 adults and one teenager.
I did what you suggest in your post regarding how to see the complete list of amenities and I think it is the Concha Renaissance.
Here is the aminities:
Accessible for deaf (TTY for phone...)
Accessible bathroom (raised toilet....)
handicaped parking (handicaped parking available)
Is it the Concha Renaissance?
The rate per night is $125.85
Tax and recoverycharge and fees: $23.31
Total: $149.16
Is there a resort fee on top of the total?
is it around 14-16%?
How do I get a room for 3 or Hotwire only has room for 2?
I am sorry if I ask all these questions but I have never used Hotwire before and since we need a date during high season, if we can save a few $ it will be great.
Thanks for your help

Hi Donna;
Great review .
Thank you so much for posting it. We are going to Hawaii next July and thanks to you review, it gave me tons of ideas and tips.
Just one quick question: the corporate code that you used for car rental at Thrifty, do we need to show any corporate ID?
Thanks

Sorry to ask again, but I wanted to be sure before bidding on Priceline.
I saw the betterbidding Priceline hotels list on their website. There is a fee for the resorts(Marriott, Intercontinental, Conrad, etc).
Is there only one 4* hotel in San Juan on Priceline? the Concha?
So does it means that if it is the hotel that I want, I should check area8 and 4* and keep bidding until I get it?
Does this hotel also charge a resort fee?
Thanks
-
Thanks,
How about the resorts on Priceline?
Do you think they will accommodate 3 people?
-
We need 1 night pre-cruise and also one night post cruise but we are a family or 3 (Dec 22nd and Dec 30th).
I was thinking of trying Priceline (area 8, resort) but I am not sure that the resorts/hotels will accommodate 3 in their room.
I have also checked Hotwire for Dec 22nd, and it is showing a 4* with these amenities (casino, smoke free room, fitness center, pool, restaurant, business center, high speed internet, golf nearby and spa services).
Does anyone know which hotel is it?
Should I just try Priceline and then call the resort to see if we could get 2 beds?
Thanks

Just one more question: How is the snorkeling from Las Palmas?
Is there anything to see from shore or you have to go out further by boat?
Thanks
