  1. Hi all, We got our flight times through and our return flight is at 5:10pm. I presume we still disembark at the usual 8/9am? Does the transfer take you to the airport at this time? Or do P&O have different plans for that day? Thank you for all the answers to questions!
  2. The total for 2 alcohol free packages would be £314.30.
  3. Unfortunately the P&O website disagrees and doesn't give you the option not to buy it....👎
  4. Hi Carla, this is only partly true. P&O force children to take the soft drink package when an adult takes a package. They give you this for free if you take one of the premium or alcohol packages but charge £10 per night for children if the adults buy the non-alcoholic package which I can understand. My point is that a 6 month old should not be forced to buy a soft drink package surely.
  5. Our wee issue is this is the first time we've done a package deal with P&O, flights, transfers etc. so will need to find somewhere near the port in Tenerife to buy a few soft drinks 😂
  6. I know you can only bring onboard 1l of alcohol at the start of the cruise and none during it but what's their stance on bringing on soft drinks? Before/during? Thank you!
  7. Sorry for delay Juggler, I didn't get notified of the updates for some reason. To be clear - my baby will only be drinking milk however, when I have tried to book the package for my wife and I P&O have said (online and on phone) that we must buy the baby the soft drink package (£10per day) which is outrageous...not the price, the fact that a baby should be included in the "everyone in the cabin" rule. One person has said wait til I'm onboard and try and buy it and I might try this.
  8. I get that arguement too and for me I think we will get good use out of the package, particularly now lines are serving Costa coffee etc. Coffee before breakfast, fresh orange at breakfast and I'm sure you're probably not far off £8/9 by 9am. If I didn't buy the package I think I would be much more careful about what I drink which may be a good thing but perhaps takes the holiday feel away.
  9. Thank you ☺️. As you say, I'm not complaining about the price of diet coke for my 6 month old, I'm saying that as he will only be drinking milk (not supplied by P&O 😂) that he shouldn't have to pay at all. Correct too - £10 per day.👍
  10. I'm not sure with the non-alcoholic packages - I can certainly spend at least the package money on this. At £24pppn I found that to be ok value. It would certainly mean a different type of holiday for me as I think I would be more careful about ordering drinks which might be a good thing.
  11. Thank you! Unfortunately this only refers to alcoholic packages where as we were just going to buy the non-alcoholic package. Thank you though!
  12. Just booked my first P&O cruise and went to book a drinks package. I can quite believe it but they're charging £10 a day for a soft drinks package....for our 6 month old. I understand adults need to both have the same drinks package, that's the same no matter what cruise line. But to charge a 6 month old for a drinks package seems insane? Is it just me?
  13. We have booked...and found a little snag straight away but will start a new thread for it 🤦 it's always fun getting used to a new cruise line!
  14. It's a canaries cruise ☺️we have to drive from Glasgow to London unfortunately which won't be pleasant and it's quite a long flight to Tenerife too but hoping it'll be worth it
  15. Hi folks, I'm just about to book for my wife, my 6 month old and I to go on Azura on 5th January. Is it a mistake to a 6 month old on a P&O cruise? We've never done P&O and I find it a bit too formal however, the cruise options are limited in Europe and we can go only go in January or March. Ta!
  16. Hi All, I've cruised the Mediterranean quite a few times and been to the usual ports. I'm booking a cruise for March and MSC have 2 that I'm interested in. One covers the normal Med with Naples etc. The other does a bit of the normal then goes to Casablanca, Tangier and Ceuta. Does anyone have any experience of these ports? Are they worth it? Should we stay safe with what we know? We are in our early 30's and at the time of cruising will have a 9 month old baby with us. Thanks!
  17. Hi all, Friend is on EotS next week, first cruise and wondered if they will have to tender anywhere. Stops are Split, Athens, Thira & Dubrovnik. Thanks!
  18. Hi All, We are due our first baby in July this year and would like to book an MSC cruise for March next year. Am I able to book it just now for just my wife and I and then add the baby on when they arrive? Or do I have to wait? Thanks!
  19. Hi all, We're doing a B2B on Eclipse. Trying to get a Blue Mountain Excursion that leaves from the cruise terminal and returns to the cruise terminal for the day of our change over. Celebrity only do a disembarking one (drop off is Airport) and private ones seem to only pick up from hotels in Sydney. Can anyone shed any light? Thank you all!
  20. Yes sorry, check in referred to first check in...bags referred to the turnaround. Big relief over the bags, great news thank you!
