  1. It definitely shows on the deckplan as "Cabin has two additional beds in the form of pull-down beds" if that helps. Sorry folks, realise both of you have given alot of help here.
  2. Thank you - I believe my TA has emailed them to confirm.
  3. Looks like an extremely tight squeeze with the queen bed with pullman beds?
  4. Thanks for all the help - hopefully it can be sorted. The systems just seem so antiquated...even when they say they'll email the ship to find out if it can be done, it just surprises me. Almost like P&O are just a travel agent for 7 different companies (cruise ships) with no way of really helping until you're there (and it's too late).
  5. Ah thank you! Our last room also said the beds weren't fixed but still couldn't be moved to allow for a cot. Here's hoping this is different. Thanks again!
  6. The previous room we were given didn't say anything within the deckplan but when P&O CS emailed the ship, the cabin supervisor said it could not be changed even on board due to fire regulations. This time round our room is E421 on Azura which says "cabin has two additional beds in the form of pull down beds." Beggars can't be choosers but I'm wondering if moving us directly above the theatre, next to lifts, is really a considered upgrade with a baby. I must come across as a moan but I genuinely don't feel like P&O have shown any sort of care over our booking. I wasn't expecting anything incredible, or upgrades or anything like that. I just wanted simple things sorted.
  7. I don't think I'm asking the earth.... They're trying to change their image to a family friendly cruise company but it's one thing sticking that in an advert... It really doesn't take that much extra to make it happen on the ground (or ship should I say) as well. They were good enough to say they'd change us rooms to allow for queen bed configuration but surely (surely!) you'd double check that the room you change someone to actually allows for Queen configuration.🙈
  8. How can a company mess so many simple things up? For most of you you'll have seen my posts before and the last one was... everything is sorted hooray. Well... For context, it's our first holiday with our 6 month old baby. We booked an inside cabin. Outside cabins were the same price but we were told you can't have 3 people in an outside cabins so hey ho. 1) wanted a Queen bed set up. P&O gave us twin set up. 2) we needed a cot for our baby. P&O said we might be able to get a cot, we'd need to wait til we're onboard to find out... originally telling us he'd sleep in a bunk bed. 3) we wanted a drinks package. We were told our baby would need to buy one too. these things (in my opinion) are not hard to fix...but this has now been nearly 3 months trying to fix it. Last week was a hoorah moment. A CS agent helped and said it was all sorted. We were moved to an outside cabin and given OBC to say sorry. Today on the website I was assigned my room. With twin beds. I contacted them. They said there's nothing they can do. SERIOUSLY? This is not hard....surely???
  9. Flanell may have a point... Im out on the Saturday, you'd be going out on the Sunday so perhaps an earlier flight as the boat will be sailing that day
  10. I'm going on 5th Jan on Azura... Jet2 leaving Gatwick but not as early a departure as I'd have liked. Think it's around 11:30am so means not be on boat til probably nearer 6pm I'd think?
  11. It's on Azura 👌 I believe they're normally slightly bigger than insides too!
  12. I've still to sail with P&O (Jan 24) but got a free upgrade on MSC last year from guarantee interior to deluxe balcony 👌 ... Technically got an "upgrade" on P&O this time due to alot of hassle from an inside to obstructed view outside which I don't really see as an upgrade but hey ho
  13. Well I'm pleased (I think). P&O have given us the £200 OBC as an apology and our TA has "upgraded" us to an Outside obstructed view cabin that should (I think) allow us the Queen bed rather than single beds. I say upgraded as at time of booking the Outside cabin was the same price as Inside but we were told we couldn't have Outside as they didn't allow 3 passengers in Outside cabins which they have now changed. Hopefully all fixed ...but strange that they didn't allow us this in the first place.
  14. Hasn't heard of this,thank you!
  15. Ah that's brilliant, thank you so much!
  16. Ah great shout for the wardrobe, thank you!
  17. Here's hoping... It's not going to ruin the holiday either way
  18. We managed to sort it thank you 👌 although some frustrating issues... We booked a Queen bed for my wife and I on booking and now told it will have to be 2 singles and they can't change this on board due to fire reasons which isn't ideal! Not the end of the world but when they preach that they're family friendly then I'd have hoped for these things to be sorted. First world problems I guess
  19. Maybe wrong in saying this but I'd still have Rome/France down as Western Med. I know it's not technically true but alot of cruiselines describe Eastern Med as Venice/Croatia/Greece etc.
  20. Sorry I maybe have a shortened version. We were told we couldn't ask for this before we boarded and instead had to wait til we're onboard as its first come first served to see if they had a cot for us.
  21. Thank you! We have an inside cabin so it'll be a tight squeeze 😂
  22. Thank you 👌 can I ask what you done for food? Thanks!
  23. Well...that was my other thought. I'm probably hoping that we can have dinner each night with the baby in the Night nursery. We'll see if that comes true....but we would definitely consider some of the restaurants depending on value (I'm a bit tight with wanting value for money!)
  24. That is great information thank you! We will probably take the OBC - if there were better itineraries we'd probably consider the FCC but think we'd end up taking a cruise we weren't fussed about with it. Thanks for your input!
