  1. Hello! I'm wondering if anyone has 7 days of up to date menus of the MDR on Azura? Just want to show my wife so she can decide what night to look at speciality 😱
  2. When do you go Waggie? We were told all London flights are from Gatwick for the winter season to Canaries 😱
  3. Brilliant thank you! We'll need to work it round our 6 month old sleep schedule 😬 but apart from that, that sounds great!
  4. Any issue getting a table at Glasshouse? Alot of people saying there's no way you're getting a table unless you're on a 14 night cruise and book for the 2nd week during the first week?
  5. Is Sindhu not pay per item any more? Sorry, if you're able to give prices it would be great, it's still showing on the sample menu as pay per item for my cruise in 2 weeks. Thanks!
  6. Thank you - I understand people mentioning the deck plan and that they've never had this issue...I've never seen anything like it either but the information from P&O is coming directly from their "Senior Guest Support Representative" from the "Office of Paul Ludlow CEO" so I can only hope that the person is senior enough to know? And she is in direct contact with head of housekeeping onboard Azura. It all just seems strange. I put the point to them that for a company who are actively trying to promote their image as family friendly where in the past it's maybe been slightly more mature in their clientele base, they're not making a great impression on families. Their response was the newer ships are made for families πŸ€·β€β™‚οΈ which I get - but don't advertise your company as family friendly and then give families the hassle that we've had. Very odd. I am still hopeful of: A) a resolution before we go (doubtful given we travel in 2 weeks and been told not to expect any major response over Christmas and New Year. B) a resolution on the ship like everyone has suggested where it just gets done.
  7. For those that have been following...since September I've been trying to change my twin beds on Azura to Queen. I've been told it's been fixed, it's not been fixed, I can sort it on board and no way will they do it on board as it's a fire hazard (ALL of this info has came directly from P&O). Long story short...I have been told today that Azura has some fixed twin beds due to fire regulations and it just so happens I'm in one of those rooms. Can anyone confirm/deny this? We're in an outside cabin. Can't believe the hassle! Thanks!
  8. For medical emergencies you phoned AXA directly, in the UK, 24/7 so I think that part is ok hopefully. Thanks folks...just shows the difference in prices, crazy!
  9. If it was ports that I was desperate to see them definitely but the Azura is more just to get away...if we miss Fuerteventura it's not the end of the world πŸ‘Œ
  10. Most of the time I book insurance at the airport.... this is early for me!
  11. Agreed... the rest is mainly compensation for unfortunate events that on the whole, are first world problems. These 2 are absolutely imperative.
  12. If this isn't allowed please shout and I'll remove. I'm on Azura in 2 weeks time and was just sorting my travel insurance. Found a wee note on a website about coverwise. Got a quote (they say all their policies cover cruises) for Β£16 for me, my wife and my 6 month old for the week. Seemed very good...I was expecting at least Β£30-40. Anyone got any experience with them?
  13. Hi all, Does anyone have the daily planners from Azura recently? Just interested to see what's on ☺️ I can't be the only sad person who keeps hold of all of these
  14. PS I can also understand the concerns with neighbourhood cabins. They may appeal to some but I can't understand them at all, same price as seaview (pretty much) with no privacy
  15. πŸ˜‚ We're used to big..we've done NCL Epic, Oasis and Symphony OTS and MSC Seaview which are all fairly big. Azura will be a big surprise!
  16. My biggest surprise out of your post is that you hated Oasis OTS 😱 I love Oasis class ships πŸ˜‚. 4 weeks til I'm onboard Azura
  17. Thanks Raino - spotted some when you travelled with a 2 year old (although I think that may be braver than travelling with a 9 month old!). Did you travel when they were younger? Sorry, can I ask a couple of questions if that's ok? Did MSC provide steriliser/cot/hot water when required etc? Did they offer baby food at all? Lastly, the baby club - you attend this with your baby is that right? Sorry just double checking as P&O offer free childcare so just wanted to make sure.
  18. I just want to double check.... Some cruises charge more than double for single occupancy. If it were the case that you can check in separately, would people not just be booking a room for 2 and just saying the other person didn't make it?
  19. Hello! Sorry, it's Azura and from Tenerife for the P&O one πŸ‘Œ
  20. Hello all, I'm thinking of booking a cruise with my wife and baby (9 months at time of cruise). We're already doing a P&O cruise in January (when he'll be 6 months) and just wanted to see what MSC offer. To put it into context we've had alot of trouble with P&O HOWEVER, their actual set up is very good. They offer: Cots and sterilisers in your cabin Received an order form for all the baby food jars I wanted (included in cruise fare) Night nursery (8 hours of free baby care each night from 6pm-2am) Outwith baby jars, they also have offered any food in the MDR can be mashed/blended for him. What are MSC like? Thanks!
  21. We can get MSC in April for <Β£700 for the 3 of us (plus flights and hotels) so might just go for that πŸ‘Œ keep summer at home
