  1. it's actually opposite on VV, at least for the aft suites.  I think any balconies on the sides of the ship should have decent chance for some sun, but note only the Mega suites and a few of the aft suites have sun loungers, all other balconies just have two small chairs and a side table.

  2. I believe I saw somewhere (facebook maybe) someone stayed in one of these rooms and it was a large amount of space but with the same minimalist furniture of the standard rooms.  Not really sure if I would call them "better" but if empty space seems helpful for you, go for it.

Agreed, they have to do something about the smoking. They also placed the crew smoking area in the middle of the jogging track. The closed in design of the pool deck traps smoke from above as well. There's room on the ship to give people a nice closed in smoking lounge/weed bar. I'd much rather that than the current state of affairs.

They already have a large outdoor area on the forward starboard side as well a large indoor smoking room off of the casino, but apparently that's not enough!

  4. yes, $300 off next voyage and pick whatever room you want, also made it easy for booking a back-to-back voyages because they could quickly find us a room # that was available so we don't have to move.  You will also get a code in an email for $300 off another next voyage booked within 60 days from your current voyage.

Suite are the least recommended way to cruise. You lose a lot of money on a suite because the markup for a cruise are huge on suites vs standard rooms. You are paying 3x the price of a standard room while having same benefits on the ship, you essentially are a victim of your stupidity if you sail in suites based on this logic above.

I guess that also means you never pay for first class on a plane, because everyone gets to the same place at the same time?

How do you feel about the entertainment and bars?

There were so many different bars for whatever vibe you are looking for.  On the Rocks had a great blues band multiple times, a folksy band (guitars and a banjo) at the Dock House.  The pool bar drinks were not that exciting but I think they are going for the Rose all day and IPA crowd.
