Yes it is, and it was great.  Wife usually hates spas, but enjoyed this one and we would go back because we can hang out together.  

I’ve been on all 3 lines you mentioned.  Virgin has by far the best food, as long as you aren’t looking for boring vanilla stuff all the time.  Will never go on another mainline cruise after Virgin.

So per the Holiday Markers on deck 7 today, the My Next Voyage promo for $300 off a voyage booked in the next 60 days can only be combined with one $300 Sea Blazer credit per CABIN.  I was told multiple times on the phone that I could use both Sea Blazer (2 people in my cabin con current voyage) credits together for $600 off a 2022 voyage that was then combinable with the My Next Voyage $300 off ($900 total).  Apparently that was wrong info and they won’t give you more than $600 total off a 2022 voyage.

So you tip the bartenders but not the restaurant staff or housekeeping?

If anyone onboard has a cabana reservation for Bimini, could you please post the actual options for the beverages that are included, I understand it's something like beer, wine or cocktails, but is it actually $100 worth as noted in the Shore Things?

Perhaps it’s such a good report because he’s not getting paid by corporate types, just saying, a paycheck changes everything

Is anyone from the MerMaiden voyage staying on for today’s departure?  Or any previous experiences from UK with back to back sailings? Curious how it went, did you have to disembark etc.

I would hope so, given that tips are already included in the pricing, so they are getting double tip…

Important to note that this is a port day, I would think half the ship or more went ashore for excursions.

the drinks in general should be slightly cheaper today, they add on the local tax when in port.

Given that the "IV" room on the map is the same color as the medical facility, I would think it's just a small room that hungover people can go to for some IV detox type of services.

I’d prefer keep it a secret, but I can also just stop reading this thread.  Might want to add a “spoiler” disclaimer for those that want to keep the surprises a surprise.

the VV website says they recommend not scheduling a flight out of MIA prior to noon.

If anyone that will be on an upcoming voyage in October and are staying in a cheeky corner suite on deck 11, could you please post a picture of the balcony setup or describe the furniture on the balcony?  I've seen conflicting information, it appears that it should have a couch, two lounger chairs (the long ones) and a champagne table.  However, I've seen photos from UK voyages that appear to have only two standard chairs (not loungers), but perhaps those are from a lower deck as the balconies get smaller?

oh ok....I'm actually speaking from personal experience, all cabanas are sold out for my December voyage and I've seen other people with voyages this year also posting that they sell out in advance.  When you book the cabana on the app, it specifically tells you that it includes $100 in bar credit.

They are all $350 per cabana for my sailing in December, including the Rockstar ones.  Believe they come with a $100 drink credit.  They sell out early so book asap.

I think you two maybe talking about different things.  Sure the structure of the ship is likely ferrous, but interior cabin walls are usually paneling/fiberglass or other non-metal material in my experience...

Miami is a huge international city, with tons of media, and the cruise capital of the world. This will get drowned out in NYC.

 

If they'd had their terminal ready, brought in Branson, hired Pit Bull...would've been Epic.

Who said their won't be a similar Miami event? I wouldn't be surprised if they announce one for late Sept/early Oct right after the NY event.
