Which cabin were you assigned?

One or two per day, usually in the evening. On sea days there were two charms offered. We couldn’t wait to collect the Celebrity “X”! I took this photo for a friend who sailed on her first Celebrity cruise on the Equinox a month ago.

I haven’t, but here’s a full tour. They’re forward and used to be called Family Verandas. There are still Family Verandas on the other S-Class ships. Only the Silhouette has been changed so far. Here’s the Family Veranda.

Today is Equinox’s turn around day. The menu shows lobster for no fee on the second chic night.

Would you like Parmesan on your spaghetti bolognese? There will be a $3 charge. Plus gratuity, of course.

This can’t be true. In a Royal Suite you have access to complimentary specialty dining. Lowering standards and expectations in order to “compete” with other brands does not make sense at all!

The 30K points will reap $300 of on board credit. I haven’t seen a better offer than the 30K points you mention, and wish I’d snagged that offer. It was 10K when I bit a year ago. 🫤

The upcharges are on the Equinox, so I think you’d need to get feedback from someone who is currently on board Equinox in Aqua Class.

Question: Why is salmon, chocolate cake, and cheesecake still on the Room Service menu yet cut from the MDR? 🤔

I asked, and was directed downstairs. There are restrooms just inside the door on the starboard side, across from the entrance to the Sky Lounge. At least the women’s restroom was on the starboard side. I didn’t search out a Men’s restroom.

Should we want to dress for dinner when a burger and fries are served?

I’ve had wonderful Blu experiences in the past too. That’s not the topic at hand.

The description of main dining includes this: “This sophisticated restaurant with a wide range of globally-inspired dishes created by a Michelin-starred chef will provide the fine dining experience you love while you’re on vacation.” I wonder which Michelin-starred chef gets credit for the current offerings?

Yes, this is the straw that breaks the camel’s back for me. I have my upcoming cruises paid in full, but Celebrity no longer feels special. I’m icked out by all of the additional charges. I’m having guilt about talking up Celebrity to family members. Since we booked last November, the slashes to quality and inclusions have been ruthless.

Noise wasn’t an issue in our suites. I checked with my son and he only had a video of 6116, but here are some screen captures from that.

Our group had 6116, 6118, and 6146. I preferred 6118, probably because I liked the position of the bed to the left. Aesthetically, the door to the penthouse in 6146 wasn’t pleasing. Probably not an issue for anyone else, but that was something that I noted. What might be an issue is that my son in law said he fell asleep on the balcony of 6146 and woke to see that people on the deck above could see him. Lack of privacy is an issue for me. The bathroom was huge though, with both a shower and separate bath. It’s a lot to consider.

Oh, sorry! I read too many posts here on the Celebrity board and got confused.

You can see the balcony through the sheets in one of the photos in my previous post. You can’t see an obstruction. It sounds like you might be more comfortable staying put in your Aqua Class cabin rather than take a chance.

I’ll try to post a couple that were messed up before.
