We booked a Penthouse Suite on Emerald April 5th 2024 for the Total Eclipse of the Sun. We like that fact we can order any of the meals they are serving in the dinning rooms and have it delivered to our suite The problem is there isn’t a dinning table to eat it on except on the balcony. Do you think they would bring us a folding table or any thoughts on this experience. Thanks

We have always had aft suites on multiple ships. Forward wind could be a big problem where you may be warned not to venture out on the deck when at sea from the wind. Yes, Royal class balconies are huge on aft. The soot was hit and miss depending on the wind and ship speed. We liked the aft suites on the Pacific, Tahitian, and Ocean Princess almost 1000' feet of space. Too bad they are gone but Oceana and Azamara have those ships now.

We got invited in November on the Discovery..it was a pure delight of food, aroma, and atmosphere Done 6 chefs tables and so different

Your right it was the Coral....they butcher the Island never sail it again.

Was on the Island Princess the sister ship in Europe last September. We have done 33 Princess cruises and it was the worst ship we have ever been on. Old and tired. They butchered it to expand for more cabins. We did the Discovery in November and a world of difference.

Hopefully the internet will be better and you can post. In November it was horrible.

We have both have worked in the hospitality/restaurant business and as of a sign of appreciation for what they do, we do cash tip.

BTW here is a photo of the Coho Salmon we caught in Juneau on The Majestic Princess and we brought back to the ship and they cooked for us.

We were on the Tahitian Princess in 2007 in Bora Bora in a Mini Suite. We watched as the cabin above us reeled in a fish above us and the fished passed us on the balcony. Not sure what happened to the fish. Serious no BS.

Sea Bass on the Discovery a couple of weeks ago.

Was on the cruise and came back with sore throat and cough. Tested 2X and negative. I think what ever it is it is getting a lot of people

Having done 7 Chef's Tables this experience was delight full. Would do it again but a different region instead of Turkey, Italy and Spain

We did it last week. It was great...we loved it. No photos allowed. We were seated at a circular table with a circular 360 degree movie screen behind us. Our tour was a visual, audio, aromatic and interactive tour of each region of the Mediterranean that our 7 course meal originated from. Each course featured a different wine which was introduced by our host before it was served. It was very relaxing and surprising at times. We feel lucky to have been selected to experience it.”

We did the 360 last night and really enjoyed it 😀 We have done 6 chefs table completely different experience very relaxing food was 👍

We were on the Majestic in August and November also the Grand in February. These cruises were about 60% capacity and internet was really good. Able to work the whole time Just got off the Island it was non-existent the whole 10 days. Totally frustrating, worst ever! We will be on the Discovery in 4 days and agree I will just give work a break.

This was our 34th Princess cruise. I agree we were on the same cruise and glad to get off. Crew was great but we will never board that ship again.

I am with you always book a mini or full suite we love to soak in the tub.

30 Princess Cruises later..my wife will not let them do hers I will send out shorts or T-shirts but anythng else we do ourselves

I was told by the bartender I had reached my 15 day limit. There was no way. They had billed my wife and my drinks to my account not hers.. Interesting that I was able to order 2 drinks at a time and charged to my account.
